Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
Product Development
- Lead the design and development of surgical instruments and implants using CAD software (CREO).
- Develop and maintain project plans and FDA-compliant Design History Files (DHF).
- Perform design verification and validation to ensure designs meet technical specifications.
- Manage assigned projects to ensure timely completion while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal prototype teams and external vendors for rapid prototyping and testing.
- Support preparation of regulatory submissions to the FDA.
Customer Engagement
- Work directly with surgeons and clinical users to gather product feedback and translate clinical needs into design requirements.
- Participate in product launches, sales training, and customer visits.
- Support surgical cases in the operating room to observe device performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing and product management to develop market strategies and forecasts.

Experience & Qualifications:

Essential Job Summary::The Level B Fleet Mechanic/Technician is a journeyman-level role responsible for independent diagnosis and repair of most mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on refuse trucks, heavy trucks/tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment. This role also mentors Level C technicians, supports road calls, and ensures high uptime and DOT compliance for the fleet.
Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.:Diagnostics & Repair
- Independently diagnose and repair:
- Diesel and gasoline engines (intake, fuel, cooling, aftertreatment/emissions components).
- Drivetrain components including clutches, transmissions, differentials, PTOs, and drive lines.
- Air and hydraulic brake systems, ABS, and suspension components.
- Hydraulic systems on refuse equipment (packer bodies, arms, cylinders, pumps, valves, and hose routing).
- Electrical systems including starting/charging, multiplex wiring, sensors, and lighting.
Preventive Maintenance & Compliance
- Perform and sign off on DOT-compliant inspections and PMs, ensuring all safety-critical items are addressed and documented.
- Accurately interpret and close out DVIR/eDVIR defects; communicate recurring defects to leadership for root-cause analysis.
- Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software, service bulletins, and wiring schematics to troubleshoot complex issues.
Road Calls & Operational Support
- Respond to road calls and breakdowns throughout the NYC tri-state area; perform safe temporary or permanent repairs to return vehicles to service or coordinate towing as needed.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, supervisors, and drivers on repair status and estimated completion times.
Mentorship, Training & Documentation
- Guide and mentor Level C technicians on best practices, safety, troubleshooting, and proper repair methods.
- Complete work orders thoroughly, capturing complaint, cause, correction, labor hours, and parts used.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for PM compliance, repeat repair reduction, and parts standardization.
- Independently diagnose and repair:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3–5+ years hands-on experience as a diesel, truck, or heavy equipment mechanic/technician, including diagnostics and major component replacement.
- Valid CDL Class B (or higher) with air brake endorsement strongly preferred to perform road tests and move equipment on public roads within NY/NJ/CT.
- Demonstrated proficiency with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret OEM service manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience in refuse/solid waste, municipal, or LTL/heavy trucking fleet operating in urban environments preferred.
- ASE certifications in Medium/Heavy Truck (T series) or Truck Equipment (E series); working toward Master status preferred.
- Basic welding and cutting skills (MIG, stick, torch) for brackets, hangers, and minor body fabrication preferred.
- Familiarity with computerized fleet maintenance and parts inventory systems preferred.

The Buyer/Planner coordinates activities involved with planning and procuring goods and services for multiple product lines. They are responsible for planning and purchasing items such as electromechanical assemblies, fabricated parts, and electronics. They understand different manufacturing processes and have a willingness to travel both domestically and internationally. Work closely with Engineering, Accounting, Scheduling, Receiving and Production personnel to ensure timely delivery of materials while following appropriate policies and procedures. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days in our office in Eagleville, PA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Issue requests for quotes (RFQ) and select the best source consistent with cost, quality and delivery requirements. Negotiate and manage long-term pricing agreements on critical commodities.
- Complete purchase requests with domestic and international suppliers by inputting purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and verifying all transactions.
- Handle correspondence concerning over-shipments, delivery shortages, changes in quantity, delivery dates, and prices and report such changes to the interested parties in a timely manner as required.
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and involved departments to resolve procurement-related problems.
- Source new products to meet new product launch timelines.
- Authorize payment for purchases by reviewing invoices and related documentation.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels consistent with inventory goals and as set by management.
- Maintain accuracy of system information, including lead-time, pricing, current supplier information, current purchase order data, etc.
- Monitor supplier performance by ensuring that product is delivered as scheduled and meets specifications; maintaining appropriate files and records of meetings with suppliers to ensure company requirements are met and that the supplier is aware of their performance.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other job-related tasks as needed, enabling other workers to achieve their job objectives.
- Source new suppliers as required and determine the best source of supply by evaluating price, quality, manufacturing capabilities, lead time, service support, and financial stability.

The Business Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting data-driven decision-making for core PMA business functions. Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Business Insights
* Conduct in-depth data analysis to support strategic business initiatives.

Requirements:

This Manufacturing Engineer will report to the Director of Manufacturing to design, implement and improve manufacturing process (Machining, fabrication and Assembly). Responsibilities:
- Report to the Director of Engineering and collaborate with cross functional teams, based on product specifications and quality standards to develop and implement manufacturing process across machining and assembly process.
- Establish rapport with manufacturing operators, act as the primary contact for technical questions regarding manufacturing processes, equipment operations, provide training and guidance to operators as needed.
- Drives root cause investigation on issues regarding process, equipment, product quality, tooling etc, identify root causes and develop corrective and preventive measurement to reduce recurring quality and process issues.
- Collaborate with Quality team to investigate non-conformance, customer returns, analyze process and quality related issues and conduct root cause analysis, implement CAPA to reduce quality issues, process issues and re-work issues.
- Drives equipment reliability and safety, troubleshoot equipment failure and collaborate with maintenance team to improve reliability and safety of equipment and process.
- Drives CI across process, equipment, materials to further improve manufacturing efficiency, cost reduction and waste reduction, perform time study and SPC to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Perform process changeover in between customer projects, continue access process on materials, equipment, tooling and manpower.
- Provide hands-on training and coaching to product personnel on process, process improvement, changes, equipment set-up and maintenance, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical Engineer, industrial engineer, or related fields.
- Recent years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, industrial engineer or Process Engineer, exposure to assembly, machining, manufacturing desired
- Excellent communication and hands-on leadership skills.
- Solid knowledge of lean manufacturing, SPC, etc., strong in data analysis and problem solving.
- Solid knowledge of quality inspection process and inspection tools
