As an Expert Consultant, you will be integrated into a BCG team to leverage your deep expertise on projects that reshape finance functions. You will be given end-to-end responsibility for a workstream within a BCG project. You will work closely with clients to understand their issues, create strategies for change, and win buy-in for your recommendations, while also collaborating with colleagues on complex client issues. You will provide deep expertise and insight to clients and help build your expertise area within BCG. A majority of your time will be focused on supporting and executing case work.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in finance across topics such as finance function effectiveness, CFO advisory, FP&A, process and policy, technology, operations, organizational structure and strategy, and/or transformation .
  • Previous consulting experience is required.
  • Proven experience working on finance transformation programs including: operating model redesign, process re-engineering, technology enablement, shared services, finance technology, budgeting, management reporting and Business Intelligence, core accounting, tax, treasury, internal audit, AI and machine learning.
  • Experience in finance technology stacks, process optimization, and data architecture to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Our client in Torrance is seeking an experienced Buyer III to support procurement activities for government programs. The role involves sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with government procurement regulations.

Because most work supports U.S. Government prime contracts, experience with DCMA CPSR (Contractor Purchasing System Review) processes is highly important. The buyer will be responsible for preparing CPSR-compliant PO folders and documentation prior to issuing purchase orders, including managing contract flow-down requirements to suppliers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase materials, components, and services
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery, and supplier agreements
  • Prepare CPSR-compliant PO documentation and approval folders
  • Ensure government contract flow-down requirements are included in POs
  • Track supplier performance, delivery schedules, and inventory needs

Required Qualifications

The Assistant Controller plays a critical role in supporting Finance Director in managing accounting operations for two Business Units. This position focuses on inventory control, cost accounting, and audit compliance, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to industry standards. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.



Pay Range: $105,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year. Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inventory & Cost Accounting


    • Oversee inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and reporting.
    • Maintain and analyze costs, variances, and manufacturing overhead allocations.
    • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate inventory tracking and cost control.


  • Program Finance & EAC Management

    • Collaborate with Program Managers to monitor program financial performance.
    • Review Estimate at Completion (EAC) reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with program budgets.
    • Track program costs, revenue recognition, and margin analysis for long-term contracts.
    • Provide financial insights to support program decision-making and risk mitigation.


  • Financial Reporting & Compliance

    • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOX requirements, and external regulations.
    • Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and resolving inquiries.


  • Accounting Operations

    • Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
    • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed.
    • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.


  • Budgeting & Forecasting

    • Contribute to annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
    • Provide cost analysis and variance reporting to support decision-making.


  • Process Improvement & Systems

    • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
    • Support ERP system enhancements and automation initiatives.


  • Team Leadership


Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.



Position Requirements
  • Strong background in inventory management, cost accounting, and audit support.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Finance or Accounting.
  • Formal training and in-depth experience in cost accounting, financial accounting, local, state, and federal tax regulations, and financial analysis & reporting.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.

Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced, Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welder to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This position is ideal for individuals who have experience and are eager to grow within a structured and supportive environment. You will assist in the welding, fabrication, and assembly of propellant space tank systems and sub-assemblies.



Pay Range: $40 to $60 per hour.



Position Requirements
  • Weld, assemble, and fabricate various propellant space tank systems and sub-assembly components using GTAW (TIG) welding methods
  • Use precision-calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Perform work in accordance with detailed procedures, specifications, and test instructions
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing work instructions
  • Utilize various mechanical tools and equipment with minimal supervision
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other heavy equipment safely
  • Perform surface preparation processes such as blending, filing, and abrading of flight hardware
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety standards
  • Support team members with additional duties as required to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of aerospace welding experience

Under general supervision, deburr, weld prep and/or clean titanium and aluminum components and sub-assemblies to support all core processes, such as machining, welding, and NDE.



Essential Responsibilities




  • Support the highest standards of safety and environmental practices.
  • Deburr machined components for sharp edges.
  • Hand blend machined and welded surfaces to drawing requirements.
  • Hand abrade components to desired finish for weld.
  • Clean components and assemblies per drawing and/or manufacturing work instructions.
  • Make a continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
  • Check work after completion of each operation in job and/or completed job to ensure it is complete per drawing and/or manufacturing work instruction.


$23-$26 per hour
