Summary:

HUBBNYC seeks to hire a full-time IT Technical Support Specialist to directly assist the IT Manager in diagnosing and resolving issues across NYC. They will be required to visit problem sites to address these issues while carrying some equipment. The full scope of responsibilities includes:


Job Responsibilities:

  • Travel through NYC, visiting sites to address IT issues.
  • At each site, the equipment coordinator will verify that handheld devices are working properly and commence troubleshooting if they are not.
  • Performs professional and technical work installing, maintaining, and supporting security cameras, electronic locks, desktop computers, and network equipment.
  • Running and terminating Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
  • Hardware and software support in a Windows-based environment.
  • Troubleshoot wireless door systems.
  • Install low-voltage power supplies for card readers and door strikes.
  • Climb ladders to troubleshoot cameras and wireless hubs.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas:


Human Resources Management

  • Oversee workflow for optimum service from administrative staff.

  • Complete and send accurate HCSS Heavy Job Reports to the Archbold office by 10 AM the following day.

Employee Relations

Authority:

Your Role on the Expedition:

Assists in the clerical support functions for the Liability Claims Department. Reports directly to the VP, Claims.

Chart Your Course:

  • Run loss reports for Generali US Branch insureds.
  • Set up new claims in the system, including entering all data and establishing reserves.
  • Files claims documents and correspondence.
  • Close claim files and issue claim payments.
  • Process recoveries.
  • Complete OFAC checks, including wires and manual checks, and maintain the processing log.
  • Provide OFAC confirmations or flagged results to Compliance.
  • Set up new claims when new losses are submitted.
  • Obtain copies of checks and upload them to GUSB claim files.
  • Distribute incoming mail.
  • Maintain filing systems.
  • Retrieve files and coordinate transfer to storage.
  • Process wire requests for Metropolitan Reporting.
  • Prepare monthly reporting for clients.
  • Draft and distribute minutes from monthly meetings.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of KPIs.

Time for Take-off:
