What you will need:
Valid NYS LPN license
1+ year of experience as a LPN, but willing to help train the right candidate to further their skills

Pay Range:$24.00 - $30.10
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for assigned patients. Registered nurses provide nursing services to assure resident safety and attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well –being of each resident, as determined by resident assessment and implementing plan of care.
ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Licensure and Certifications Current RN license in State of Iowa, Current basic Life Support for Healthcare providers from American heart Association Dependent Adult Mandatory reporter training 30 days upon hire and recertification every 5 years. Unit Description
BP6 is a 28 bed Medical-Surgical Remote Telemetry unit that includes a diversity of services including General Surgery, Bariatric, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Plastic Surgery, and Trauma Surgery. We have many resources on our unit including a pharmacist, care manager/social worker, and scheduler to support unit-based needs. In addition, we have a wound ostomy team and an IV team available throughout the hospital for added support. Team members have the benefit of a shared schedule in which we partner together to complete a final schedule based on unit needs.

The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment consistent with their credentials and will have opportunity to grow Hospice & Palliative Care within the community and teach students, residents, and fellows from the University of Arizona.
