Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program Certification or registration required; EPIC proficiency strongly preferred At least one year of medical assisting experience Ability to accurately interpret and document medical terminology CPR certification required Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills Responsibilities Greet patients and manage patient flow to ensure efficiency Escort patients to discharge counters and assist with check-out Obtain patient history, assess and triage patients, measure vital signs, and document information Explain treatment procedures and prepare exam rooms and instruments for physicians Position instruments and equipment; assist physicians during procedures Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment after use Complete medical charts, including documenting services, test results, and supplies used Perform patient call-backs, coordinate referrals and testing, and schedule follow-up appointments Assist registration staff and perform clerical duties as needed Benefits Competitive hourly pay Opportunity for contract-to-perm transition On-site work environment with a 50/50 front and back office duties mix EPIC Electronic Medical Record experience preferred, with a focus on full-cycle clinical support Supportive team environment fostering professional growth #zr-rep
