RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the COO, the Executive Assistant serves as a key point of contact for internal and external constituencies on matters pertaining to the executive team as well as provides administrative and coordination for the implementation of key organizational programs and initiatives.  

The Executive Assistant will be creative and enjoy working in a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-focused, results-driven and community-oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations and have strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and project coordination skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Executive Support 

  • Responsible for a variety of high-level administrative tasks for the CEO and COO including managing dynamic calendars; arranging travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that may contain confidential information; and, compiling/creating documents for travel-related meetings. 
  • Organize and coordinate executive outreach and external relations efforts: follow up on contacts made by leadership, and research, prioritize, and address incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO and COO and determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response. 
  • Serve as administrative liaison to the New York City Charter School Center’s Board of Directors, assisting with the coordination of quarterly Board meetings, including preparing and distributing Board materials. Maintain and ensure compliance with by-laws and applicable nonprofit regulations.
  • Support fundraising and development efforts by managing a reporting calendar, conducting research, and compiling reports for grant applications and funder requirements.


Departmental Liaison & Support

  • In partnership with the COO, coordinate with the Charter Center’s various department leads (Communications & Media, School Supports, Collaborative for Inclusive Education, Policy & Advocacy, etc.) to provide administrative leadership on projects integral to the work of the Charter Center. Tasks to include everything from data entry and management to developing programmatic materials and presentations, et al.
  • Aid the administration of the main office by providing customer support, assisting with event planning and coordination, and other general administrative tasks as requested.

Qualifications you'll bring:

Your key responsibilities:

 

  • Manage recurring audit inventories, ensuring timely progression and completion of existing audits.
  • Identify and initiate new audits as patterns emerge through risk-based monitoring efforts, datamining, and other routine payment policy reviews.
  • Analyze new opportunities to substantiate, size, and prioritize audit needs, and develop audit protocols for new audit types.
  • Report suspected fraud and abuse to the SIU for further investigation and identify providers in need of education.
  • Collect and validate Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) from payment integrity functions across the organization.
  • Assist in the reporting of monthly metrics and participate in cross-functional audit operations.
  • Handle department projects, participate in committees relevant to payment integrity, and support process improvement efforts.
  • Participate in training and development activities within the department and corporation.
  • Perform other audit activities and manual reviews as requested, ensuring accuracy of claims and supporting overall payment accuracy.

Cornerstone Building Brands is in the process of growing our market development (sales) team. As a Marketing Development Representative, you will be responsible for representing our top siding, stone and accessories brands (including PlyGem) to the decision makers closest to our products. You will travel in your market building relationships with primarily with contractors, but also potentially working with builders, architects, spec writers, etc. to pull through sales of our premier surface solutions. This role will partner closely with our field sales team and national accounts team and engage with our end customers to bring them to our points of sale with our distribution and retail partners.

Job Description

  • In this position, you will be responsible for creating and executing a strategic prospecting strategy to engage Cornerstone Building Brand’s contractors (second level customers buying through well established distribution partners)
  • You will be the face of the contractor brand (Ply Gem) to our end users
  • You will build relationships with remodelers, restoration professionals, roofers, custom home builders, local builders, sub-contractors etc.
  • You will drive contractor engagement and develop your assigned market by converting new customers to our suite of premier exterior surfaces products and also driving loyalty by meeting with existing contractors to increase our share
  • Promote and sell exterior surfaces building products (Vinyl Siding, Stone, Metal, Trim, Accessories) within the assigned geographical territory
  • Maintain a comprehensive sales database to track customer information and sales activities
  • Attend sales meetings as outlined by the Sales Manager, both with in the territory and out of state for larger sales meetings throughout the year
  • Evaluate competition, market share, regional trends and provide insights on pricing and programs to cross functional teams
  • Address product quality issues and field-related problems in a timely manner with customer service, warranty and quality teams

Additional Information

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 to $75,000 + commission + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Reporting to the Director of Sponsored Programs Finance, the Procurement Specialist ensures that procurement and purchasing activities support the Research Foundation’s mission, vision, and values. The Procurement Specialist maintains compliance with the policies and procedures of the Research Foundation (RF), SUNY, sponsors, and regulatory agencies, and provides comprehensive support to researchers and administrators.  The Procurement Specialist serves as an effective liaison between suppliers/vendors and research staff. This position maintains a high level of customer service while facilitating efficient, compliant purchasing processes. 


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Execute purchasing responsibilities, including processing requisitions and creating purchase orders, in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner while adhering to institutional, federal, state, city, and sponsor policies. 


  • Assist in the administration of the electronic procurement system by providing hands-on support to faculty, staff, and administrators. Troubleshoot user issues, manage account access and permissions, and guide researchers and administrators to ensure proper system use and compliance with Research Foundation policies and procedures. 


  • Utilize existing Research Foundation (RF) and State contracts when available. When contracts do not exist, request preferential pricing proposals from vendors to establish new contracts for the Research Foundation.

 

  • Ensure compliance with competitive bidding requirements when applicable, including obtaining the required number of quotes and managing the Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes. 


  • Serve as a faculty liaison by researching and resolving purchasing concerns, needs, and discrepancies. 


  • Create and update supplier records in the Supplier Master File in accordance with RF policies and procedures. 


  • Maintain a comprehensive supplier information database, including contract numbers, contact details, and sales representative information. 


  • Prepare monthly property reports based on RF Procurement transactions.
