The Therapeutic Education Assistant role will be responsible for providing classroom management in a small special education classroom using techniques to promote learning. As a member of the Education team, you will collaborate with other team members and report to the Dean of Students.

We are seeking a Residential Learning Manager to join our team. Your role will ensure that all team members have opportunities to master the skills required to fulfill the requirements of their positions, including evidence-based models. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Participating in annual professional development needs assessment and planning process by identifying training needs, assisting in the creation of an annual training plan, designing, scheduling, and facilitating learning opportunities to meet those needs. Prelicensure Clinical Instructors (Hourly) are subject matter experts who teach and mentor students when engaged in experiential clinical course work; in a remote/onsite environment. This faculty position varies in the type, length, and intensity of instructional methods and is based upon student and facility needs. The Clinical Instructor works on a team to support an assigned group of students and offers specialized instruction on challenging experiential/clinical course work. Faculty interacts with students in both group and one-on-one settings. The Clinical Instructor ensures students are successful within their clinical placement setting as they oversee clinical learning.

We are seeking a FORGE Fatherhood Facilitator to join our team. The University of Kansas School of Social Welfare (KUSSW) and its partner, Cornerstones of Care, will develop and deliver the project, Family Opportunity, Resilience, Grit, Engagement - Fatherhood (Kansas FORGE Fatherhood). Kansas FORGE Fatherhood will serve fathers and father-figures raising a child by improving outcomes in healthy relationships, parenting practices, economic stability, and receive support in accessing community resources to long-term success.
The FORGE Fatherhood Facilitator works under the direction of the Manager of FORGE Fatherhood Project and is responsible for delivering the proposed program model, which includes the evidence-based Strengthening Father Involvement (SFI) curriculum, the evidence-informed financial program Money Habitudes (MH), and individualizing training based on participant's goals and needs as identified in case management.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Support recruitment efforts by assisting the Manager of FORGE Fatherhood Project with outreach, referrals, and participant engagement strategies.
- Facilitate workshops, creating a supportive, culturally responsive, and flexible learning environment for fathers
- Ensure program implementation supports methods for fathers to work collaboratively with spouses or co-parents.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
4. Current PALS (AHA) certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
5. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
6. Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) within 6 months of hire required.
7. Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
8. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
9. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive, critical care to patients in the intensive care unit. Essential Work Functions:
- Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in patient condition
- Administer complex medications and treatments in accordance with approved critical care nursing techniques
- Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments, addressing physical and emotional needs
- Record significant conditions, reactions, and interventions, notifying the appropriate provider of changes in patient status
- Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines, central venous pressure, and pulmonary artery catheters
- Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record in a timely manner to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations
- Communicate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care
- Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and technologies through ongoing education and training
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols to protect immunocompromised patients and reduce risks
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance ICU patient outcomes and operational efficiency
