Position: Registered Nurse
Location: Kansas City, KS
Department: ED, ICU & Step Down Unit
Shifts Available: Days & Nights
Pay: $1,584 to $2,221.56
Assignment length: 12 weeks

- Triage and quickly assess situations, make decisions, and solve problems efficiently in high-pressure environments.
- Cooperation with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Aid in resuscitative efforts, including CPR and the use of defibrillators.
- Prepare and maintain equipment for emergency interventions (e.g., intubation, central line placement).
- Assist in patient stabilization for conditions like trauma, cardiac arrest, and acute illnesses.
- Prioritize patient care based on acuity level using triage protocols.
ED RN- EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1.Current and valid state RN License.
2.Current BLS certificate required.
3.Current ACLS certificate required.
4.Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC required.
5.Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation required.
6.Minimum of one year of RN ED experience required.
7.In Paramedic Bas Station ED: MICN required.
8.Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) required.
ICU RN- EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
4. Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation required.
5. Current ACLS certificate required.
6.Minimum of one year OF RN ICU experience required.
Step Down Unit RN- EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1.Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.
2.BCLS upon hire and maintain current.
3.ACLS within 30 days of hire and maintained current.
4.Minimum of one year of RN Step Down experience required.
