The Product Management Intern will serve an important function within our Customer Experience team at MVP to help drive best in class experiences for our customers across our Gia mobile app, Gia member online web experience and non-digital experiences.

 

The role will provide experience with discovery, delivery and analytics processes across multiple product and business areas. About the Opportunity

 

As a Professional, Prospective Review in Health Management - UM Prospective Review, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our prospective review process. You will work closely with the healthcare team to review and assess the appropriateness of medical services, treatments and high dollar medical equipment. The Professional, Internal Auditor would be responsible for performing financial, operational, and compliance audits included on the audit plan for all of MVP's operational locations to ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures and analyze, interpret and document audit results. This position would be responsible for reviewing and testing processes and evaluating internal controls and providing improvement recommendations to MVP's procedures for appropriate control measures and efficiencies. This position would also assist the Leader of Internal Audit and Senior Internal Auditor in coordinating regulatory exams such as the New York State Department of Financial Service (DFS) and New York State Department of Health (DOH), and external audits as needed. The candidate would also assist in the overall coordination of MVP Audit Committee Meetings including the preparation of the Committee Meeting packages and meeting arrangements.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting/business plus 2 or more years auditing experience within an internal audit function or CPA firm or 4 or more years of experience in Finance or related areas within MVP.

 

Additional Desired Qualifications: Prior audit experience in managed healthcare industry and possession of a certified public accountant (CPA) or certified internal auditor (CIA) designation preferred but not required.

Qualifications you'll bring:

 

  • Pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as business administration, computer science, business management or information systems preferred. Microsoft 365 certification is a plus.
  • Must be in good academic standing with GPA of 3.0 or above.

Your key responsibilities:

 

  • Get experience in cloud-based digital transformation technology, with a focus on the Microsoft roadmap.
  • Identify Microsoft product enhancements as they are released; understand product capabilities, positioning, deployment strategies, best practices, and potential risks.
  • Proactively support the implementation of new digital transformation technology and features with promotional content development, training documentation and communications.
  • Assist in demonstrations, training sessions, proof of concepts, and pilot opportunities to support coworkers in their journey to build Digital fluency.

$65,102.17 - $100,908.37Clinical Nurse assesses, coordinates, plans, directs, implements and manages the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care with a focus on progress toward discharge, including during transitions within the acute care stay. The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery and coordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team. S/he assures that competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers including referring facilities, hospital staff and patients in the inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.

Clinical Duties:

  • Assists the attending Transplant surgeons, house staff, and Transplant staff with the direct care of hospitalized patients and outpatients on a rotating basis with the other clinical care coordinators, including: facilitation of patient discharges and transplant teaching
  • Attends once a week outpatient Transplant clinics: RN orders labs, performs injection teaching, coordination of care

Schedule appropriate non-invasive laboratory tests and participates in the interpretation of the results and the institution of appropriate therapy based off physician guidances

  • Schedules appropriate surgery and tests for patients
  • Discharge Planning
    Reviews discharge instructions to hospitalized patients
    Works with hospital case manager and social worker regarding patient discharge needs
  • Answers telephone inquiries from patients and/or visiting nurses after hospital discharge
  • Education of health care workers and the public regarding organ transplantation
  • Participates in teaching programs of the Abdominal Organ Transplant Program
  • Additional responsibilities as needed.

Patient Care and Monitoring:

  • Monitor Transplant recipients after surgery for complications or rejection and report to Transplant
    Physician
  • Review lab results and biopsy reports
  • Assess patient symptoms and clinical status
  • Coordinate follow-up visits and routine post-transplant evaluations

Medication Management:

  • Monitor drug levels
  • Adjust medications based on provider orders
  • Educate patient of medication changes and adherence

Provide Education and support to lifestyle changes, infection prevent, medication schedules, emotiona support, provide resources, and warning signs of complications inpatient and outpatient.

THE POSITION:
