Job Summary:

The Education Director is responsible for overseeing and delivering high-impact programs at a designated BGCO Clubhouse. This individual will plan, implement, and supervise programs and staff, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and youth development outcomes.

General description

The Interpreter for Deaf/Hard of Hearing facilitates communication through the use of sign-to English and English-to-sign skills. Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interprets for students who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) in a variety of educational settings, including, but not limited to, classroom environments, assemblies, recess, noon sport leagues, and counseling sessions using various sign language systems and voice interpretation at a normal conversational rate
  • Interprets a wide range of curriculum, including scientific and advanced placement topics
  • Consults with the teachers of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing, general education staff and typical students on the effective use of an interpreter
  • Provides voice interpretation to individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing as needed
  • Collaborates with IEP teams to standardize signs in an educational setting
  • Under the direction of the teacher of the deaf or hard of hearing, performs record keeping, monitoring IEP or special education related activities that support student learning

Requirements

Licenses and certificates

To qualify for the certified Interpreter, applicant must possess one of the following certifications:

  • Educational Interpreter Performance Evaluation (EIPA), level 4 or above
  • Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID)
  • American Consortium of Certified Interpreters (ACC1), level 4 or above
  • NAD certification, level 4 or above
  • Educational Signs Skills Evaluation Interpreter (ESSE-1), level 4 or above

Interpreters who have not yet obtained the required certification must be eligible for a certification waiver from the California Department of Education and must fulfill one of the following requirements in order to be placed on the eligibility list:

  • provide proof of having taken one of the certification exams listed above, along with the score achieved
  • complete the Boys Town National Research Hospital Prescreening Assessment, administered by SBCEO or by an organization recognized by SBCEO.

In this role, you will lead and mentor teams to manage document control and GMP training programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and inspection readiness, driving digital transformation, supporting cross-functional collaboration, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within a fast-growing pharmaceutical and biotech organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop Teams: Direct, mentor, and inspire the Document Control and GMP Training teams, fostering growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Set Strategic Direction: Establish KPIs, objectives, and overall strategy for document control and training in alignment with organizational quality goals.
  • Champion Regulatory Compliance: Ensure robust document management and training programs meet global regulatory requirements (21 CFR 210/211, EU GMP) and maintain inspection readiness.
  • Oversee Document Lifecycle: Supervise the creation, organization, revision, archival, and retrieval of critical documents such as SOPs, Master Batch Records, and logbooks for multi-product/multi-site operations.
  • Manage GMP Training Programs: Oversee employee training curricula, ensuring all staff are qualified, compliant, and prepared for evolving processes or regulatory changes.
  • Drive Process Improvement: Proactively identify workflow bottlenecks, elevate document control best practices, and implement scalable solutions across the organization.
  • Lead Digital Transformation: Act as the Business System Owner for electronic document and training management systems, overseeing system configuration, validation, and integrity per regulatory standards (21 CFR Part 11).
  • Support Audits and Inspections: Represent quality systems during FDA/EMA audits, regulatory inspections, and customer visits, and deliver improvement strategies to leadership.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with QA, Manufacturing, Regulatory, IT, and Engineering teams to drive seamless quality operations and support remediation efforts as needed.
  • Uphold Culture and Standards: Set clear policies and productivity benchmarks, promote ethical practices, and cultivate a strong culture of operational excellence and compliance company wide.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field, Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of QA experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of cGMP (21 CFR 210/211), EU GMP, GDP, 21 CFR Part 11, and ALCOA data integrity principles.
  • Demonstrated expertise as a Business System Owner for digital Document Control/Training systems.
  • Proven experience supporting successful regulatory inspections and customer audits.
  • Superior project management, change leadership, and communication skills.

Position Summary:


  • This role designs the training interventions required to execute the organization's learning strategy, ensuring employees and BPO partners have the skills needed to support ADC products, technical troubleshooting, compliance/complaint handling, customer service, and quality assurance behaviors.
  • The role partners with subject matter experts across ADC to design, implement, evaluate, and administer global Customer Experience training programs delivered through a mix of document based, video/audio, and interactive media formats.


Main Responsibilities


  • Apply advanced knowledge and skills in the design, development, and delivery of training programs, informed by training needs analyses and stakeholder input.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on training program effectiveness; maintain program and individual training records.
  • Apply continuous improvement practices to global training materials, processes, and systems.
  • Stay current with innovations in learning, education, instructional design, and learning technologies.

Qualifications

Must-Haves


  • Portfolio showing design aptitude, application of adult learning principles, and iterative, holistic instructional design (Will NOT be considered without portfolio).
  • 5+ years' experience creating learning content in document, video/audio, and interactive formats.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Graphic Design, Instructional Design, or a closely related field (or equivalent demonstrated expertise/experience).
  • LMS administration experience.
  • Excellent video/audio editing and graphic design skills.
  • Expert-level proficiency in learning creation software, including these specifics:



  • PowerPoint
  • Articulate 360 / Rise 360
  • Adobe InDesign / Photoshop



  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with call center technologies, CRM or service ticket systems in a quality-focused environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
