Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure that health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner.
- Drive and operate a minimum of two types of heavy equipment including but not limited to 50/70 Barrel Vacuum and Single Roll-Off Trucks.
- Make deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
- Prepare Haz-Mat & Non-Haz manifests.
- Maintain full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, daily ELD logs, timesheets and vehicle inspection reports.
- Perform simple maintenance and cleaning of response vehicle and assigned truck.
- Perform various housekeeping and custodial duties as required.
- Answer 24/7 Emergency Response calls when on uncontrolled stand-by.
- Work long hours and overtime, including days, nights or weekend shifts.
- Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- Comply with the Random Drug Testing Program.
- High school diploma or equivalent highly preferred.
- Current Class B Commercial Driver License, required. Class A preferred.
- Driving record that meets company standards and current DMV printout, required.
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsement, required within 90 days of hire.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER required. Company paid training available.
- 2 5 years of experience in heavy equipment driving and operation required.
- 1 5 years of hazardous waste control and environmental services industry experience preferred.

Description
Removes burrs and sharp edges or excess material from metal components including contouring certain edges and features.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Removes excess metal and surface defects from aerospace hardware or machined surfaces using pneumatic or hand held abrasive wheels or belted grinding equipment.
- Uses abrasive belt or wheel according to customer specifications or type of finish specified, product being polished, or amount of metal to be removed, using knowledge of polishing operations and abrasives. Monitors abrasive wheel or belt for wear.
- Operates polisher, grinder, or deburring tools and removes metal and surface defects or contours edges of components based on specifications of blue-prints or work instructions.
- Inspects work for acceptability of finish. Moves finished components to next work station for further processing.
- Performs other work as assigned by the supervisor.
Position Requirements
- Ability to lift or transfer components or objects of no more than 50 pounds.
- Understand and follow written and oral instructions in English and possess basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assist in tooling and process development.
- Considerable ability to use a variety of hand and pneumatic tools.
- Ability to use precision hand held measuring devices, i.e., micrometer, vernier, go/no-go gauges, etc.
- Ability to use fine motor skills to manipulate small tools and perform meticulous work to close tolerances.
- Proficiently interacts with other employees and possess good interpersonal skills.
Education & Experience Required:
- High School diploma or GED
- 5+ years deburring experience or similar work involving fine polishing, grinding or contouring of metal parts in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
Working Conditions:

Position Summary
The job will require personnel to sort, segregate, and size reduce radioactive waste while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment with respiratory protection. Work must be executed compliantly in accordance to detailed operating procedures while working in a team atmosphere. The use of various hand tools and power tools will be required for daily job functions. While working to achieve N3B LLCC objectives, will ensure all activities and operations are performed in a safe and deliberate manner; will maintain required safety, security and operational training; assure procedural and regulatory compliance; and make safety, security and quality an integral part of every task; including taking the necessary steps to stop work if continuing the job is unsafe or compromises security.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):
- Responsible for proper handling, packaging, treatment and documenting hazardous and radioactive waste exhibiting chemical and radiological hazards.
- Providing technical support including opening waste containers, removing waste items if possible, and describing the waste items and recording the results.
- Routine interaction with various personnel in coordinating characterization, certification, and disposition of waste items and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements with regard to receipt, storage and disposal of waste items. .
- This position requires job specific/site specific training.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):
- Must have an understanding of work hazards, safety practices, and operating configurations
- Experience working in a team environment with a strong safety culture
- Work experience in a quality-oriented environment requiring a high degree of attention to detail
- Familiar with handling and/or transporting solid, liquid, hazardous, radioactive, and/or mixed wastes

Our Transload Operators are responsible for the unloading of sand at facilities. Responsibilities include moving rail cars into position, monitoring flows, directing sand to appropriate truck or silo, and preparing empty cars for transit.
Essential Functions:
- Unload sand at transload facilities.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair equipment and carry out regular maintenance.
- Participate in the construction of facilities and installation of equipment.
- Assist as directed at transload facilities; observe use of equipment and observe railcar operations while in training.
- Report orally and in writing to supervisors; maintain records (i.e. daily reports and maintenance logs).
- Assist truck drivers with loading as needed.
