Job Summary
The Echo Sonographer performs a variety of routine echocardiograms including, but not limited to, Transthoracic Echocardiogram or TTE, with Color, Spectral Doppler and 2-D imaging, Transesophageal Echocardiogram TEE, Stress Echocardiogram or Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram, TTE with bubbles, TTE with contrast and advanced TTE such as TTE with 3D imaging, for both inpatient and outpatient studies. Job Summary
We are seeking an SCM Coordinator to join our team. This role will be critical in building our logistics infrastructure from the ground up in collaboration with the Olive Young logistics team and 3PL operator.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate with the Olive Young SCM Division in Korea and the 3PL operator’s management team to support planning discussions for a new U.S. logistics center.
- Observe logistics operations, including import/export customs clearance and warehouse activities handled by the 3PL operator.
- Monitor inbound and outbound warehouse flows and report observations regarding operational progress.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and monitor and report on the quality of logistics processes performed by the 3PL operator.
- Monitor and analyze logistics expenses and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare monthly reports covering logistics costs, inventory days, and stock shortages.
- Support discussions related to logistics rates and contracts with 3PL providers.
- Maintain regular communication with the SCM team at Korean headquarters to ensure process alignment.
- Work closely with CJ Olive Young USA stakeholders to support internal operational and strategic planning initiatives.
- Coordinate with the 3PL operator’s management team to facilitate smooth communication channels.
- Partner with the Global SCM team in Korea to align supply chain activities.
- Monitor logistics performance and provide non-binding recommendations to the 3PL partner’s management regarding potential operational enhancements.
- Provide monthly reporting on logistics KPIs, including costs, inventory turnover, and shortages.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Prior experience working with retail clients (shippers) is required.
- Professional experience in customs clearance and logistics center operations.
- Experience with U.S.-based retail companies is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel frequently to logistics centers (initial location: Bloomington, but subject to change).
- Comfortable working in both office and logistics center environments.

Position description
The mission of the Center for Global Public Health (CGPH) is to advance health equity through interdisciplinary research, education, and strategic partnerships. CGPH works to support and administer academic programs that contribute to this mission, addressing pressing global health challenges and, with faculty across campus and at the School of Public Health (SPH), particularly advancing the global public health research agenda.
The CGPH fosters collaboration across sectors and borders, supporting numerous education-focused programs for UCB students that enhance faculty research and other initiatives aimed at translating evidence into action, particularly for under-resourced and historically marginalized populations.
The Academic Coordinator will have primary responsibility for the administration and coordination of CGPH initiatives, working closely with the faculty directors and executive director to manage, plan, and advance global health training efforts, research grant writing, event planning, and communication initiatives. This position is for an individual interested in the intersection of global public health research and education, academic administration, and grants management.
Reporting to the CGPH Faculty Director and Executive Director, the Academic Coordinator's responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the growth and implementation of global health education/training programs -in particular, the CGPH summer research fellowship program, the UCB Global Public Health and Equity Certificate program, and Program Events/Activities supporting the curriculum/training development of students in these two programs.
- Grant writing and proposal development: Monitor both solicited and unsolicited calls for research proposals and grant applications from a variety of funding sources (e.g., federal, state, foundations, corporate, HNWI). Coordinate with SPH, CGPH faculty/affiliates, and other UC networks to circulate and respond toopportunities. Support fundraising strategies and activities to cultivate relationships with potential donors and philanthropic initiatives.
- Collaborating with CGPH faculty to synthesize global public health research through the CGPH website and newsletter. Maintain the CGPH website with current and relevant content, including faculty profiles, event information, research highlights, and program details. Provide logistical and planning support for events (e.g., seminars, meetings, workshops, dinners) that align with CGPH's strategic areas.
- Duties will include involvement in a range of complex, multifaceted problems that require both administrative acumen and subject matter expertise, with key collaborators on logistical and operational program issues.
- Synthesize complex, evolving global health data and pedagogical frameworks to design responsive academic programming and student engagement opportunities.
- Crafting interdisciplinary initiatives that align regional priorities with global health goals that require innovative thinking, cultural fluency, and system-level insight.

About the role:
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across supply chain financial and logistics
operations. Responsible for validating invoices, maintaining shipment records, and executing
compliance-related postings in SAP. Provide reporting and analysis to support management
decisions, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvements. Collaborate across

Your new role
In this role, you will be part of the global procurement function (within corporate), responsible for shaping category strategies for logistics (warehousing, 3PL, distribution) and transportation (air, ocean, road, parcel) services. You will partner with senior leadership, manage strategic supplier relationships, and lead sourcing initiatives that support network expansion across the Americas. This position plays a key role in aligning procurement decisions with long-term business objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
- Significant experience in sourcing logistics for transportation and distribution services within large, multinational organizations in a corporate environment vs manufacturing.
- Proven ability to manage complex procurement categories and supplier accounts across multiple regions
- Strong knowledge of logistics providers, market trends, and contract structures
- Expertise in negotiating high-value agreements and building strategic partnerships
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels
- Strong analytical, leadership, and strategic planning skills
