How you’ll make an impact in this role

Ascension St. Vincent Eagle Highlands is seeking to add an experienced OBGYN for a split position, involving .6 clinical in the office and .4 Hospitalist.

 

The OB Physician/Hospitalist will be responsible for:

  • Management of labor up to and including delivery, as requested by generalist physicians

  • Urgent postpartum care as requested by the assigned physician

  • Caring for all unassigned patients who present to the OB Unit or Emergency Room

  • Triage of all patients who present to the unit unless directly admitted

  • When necessary perform cesarean deliveries

  • Perform circumcisions

  • Communicate with Maternal Fetal Medicine on consults & actions when requested

  • Level IV hospital and nursery

  • Level IV maternity center and NICU

  • 24hr dedicated OB anesthesia

  • Outpatient Office hours as needed

  • Rapidly growing suburban market with mostly private payer mix

  • Location includes - Womens & Infants Hospital/86 Street Campus

Located on the main hospital campus in Alamogordo, the CHRISTUS Cancer Center provides comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology services in a patient'centered environment. The clinic includes 10 treatment beds, two private chemotherapy rooms, and access to advanced technology such as a new linear accelerator, 64'slice CT, and 1.5T MRI. Patients benefit from a multidisciplinary team that includes oncology'certified nurses, a clinical nurse specialist, a nurse navigator, and strong surgical and specialty support across breast surgery, pathology, orthopedics, cardiology, pulmonology, and colorectal surgery.

The practice is 70% oncology and 30% hematology, with all chemotherapy delivered outpatient. Physicians typically see 14-16 patients per day, including three new consults, and perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies. Call is shared between the medical oncologist and CNS, with after'hours triage handled through an answering service. POSITION SUMMARY
TruHealth is seeking an advanced practice provider, either a nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) with experience in primary care or internal medicine, preferably with geriatrics focus. This position gives you the opportunity to improve outcomes for long-term care residents by collaborating with a team of providers and case managers. As one of our advance practice providers, you will exercise your independent judgement to treat patients with acute and chronic conditions, consulting with a supervising physician as appropriate. You will work closely with our facility partners and health plan leadership to Implement our national model of care in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
Our NPs and PAs are team players who contribute to TruHealth's success and help our partners enhance their residents' quality of life. Duties include:
Assessing patients' medical and mental health needs and providing a plan of care that proactively manages their conditions and addresses barriers to care
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal agencies related to clinical services you provide
Prescribing medications and ordering lab work, diagnostic procedures and consultations

WORK EXPERIENCE, CREDENTIALS AND EDUCATION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all areas of College financial operations, including grants management, budgeting, purchasing, accounts payable, cash management, and P‑Card compliance.
  • Prepare the State ACRF Package, annual financial statements, and accompanying notes.
  • Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes, including bank reconciliations, cash certifications, budget entry approvals, and year‑end journal entries.
  • Manage ERP financial functions, including maintaining budget users in Colleague, self‑service banking, and support for the College travel system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee all aspects of banquet food preparation, ensuring adherence to standardized recipes.
  • Create and maintain a standardized recipe book, plate guides, and allergen sheet for existing written menus.
  • Organize, oversee, and participate in the plating of food for service, ensuring compliance with established plating and presentation criteria.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to adapt to changing demands as related to a banquet kitchen, two years of Banquet Kitchen experience preferred.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts preferred, 3 to 5 years’ experience in a 4-5 star hotel or independent restaurant in a kitchen management role.
  • ServSafe certification.
  • Able to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs. as needed. Able to work long hours plus the ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
