The Maintenance Technician role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing processing and packaging equipment, along with distribution systems through a broad knowledge base of manufacturing skills in electrical, controls, and mechanical disciplines, involving work of varied nature with minimum supervision, resulting in efficient and reliable operation of plant facilities.


Full-time opportunity on Night Shift (06:00 PM - 06:30 AM) or Day Shift (06:00 AM - 06:30 PM) on a 2-2-3 rotation with every other weekend off.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Willing to work a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 rotation.
  • Perform and follow all OSHA guidelines regarding work and safety manuals
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as scheduled.
  • Daily oiling, greasing & inspection of production and production support equipment
  • Service and rebuild pumps and valves
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, panel controls, and mechanical problems in manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections of operating equipment and initiate preventative maintenance programs to ensure the reliable and safe operator of equipment is sustained.
  • Troubleshoot control circuitry including PLC hardware.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with high voltage equipment, including troubleshooting and understanding electrical prints.
  • Routinely dismantle, repair, and reassemble complex equipment as needed to maintain optimum efficiency.
  • Complete routine paperwork such as PM work orders, recording inspection results, logging emergency work orders, recording parts used from inventory, and recording necessary readings on log sheets in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Keep technical skills current through training and education and deliver training to others on areas of competence.

About the Role Supply Chain Manager:


Reporting to the CEO, the is responsible to Manage, coordinate, plan, and organize strategic sourcing, purchasing, production and inventory planning, receiving, warehousing, control, and distribution of materials to satisfy distribution needs/service relations as required to accomplish these goals.

The Manager of Supply Chain will be tasked with the identification, development, and completion of significant efficiency/optimization projects. This person will be responsible to work cross functionally within SC as well as WH, and cross functional departments and divisions across the entire business using lean principles, total cost analysis, strong project management skills, and a highly developed to identify major cost saving initiatives, ensure cross functional collaboration, timely project completion and the realization of identified savings. This position will report to the site Health, Safety and Environment Manager. This position will support HSE management and transformation at the Yoplait plant in Murfreesboro, Tennessee ensuring integration of Safety 2.0 principles, processes, and metrics, and enabling operational learning within the manufacturing function.


As a part of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for managing critical Health and Safety risks and ensuring effective controls for conditions with Serious Injury/Fatality potential.


Act as a coach and advisor to the site, providing exceptional leadership and technical assistance in managing safety and health critical risks. Enables operational learning through application of human performance principles, while assisting the site in maintaining compliance with local regulatory and Company Safety and Health & Safety requirements.

Lactalis Heritage Dairy, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring an MRO Store Room Supervisor based in Tulare, CA.


Maintenance Repair and Operations Storeroom Supervisor MRO) is responsible for managing Maintenance Repair and Operations spare parts inventory, contracts and services with suppliers, monitoring and reporting departmental spending and accounting functions. The MRO will also ensure inventory is accurate, maintained and available to meet plant needs.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Ensures all inventory levels are maintained and accurate. Performs routine inventory cycle counts.
  • Requests quotes for spare parts, tooling, services, etc.-review quotes for accuracy and negotiate for best pricing. Continuously review and negotiate better pricing with existing suppliers. Performs market tests with potential vendors.
  • Ensures all orders and requests are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Expedites requests as needed.
  • Ensure successful completion of assigned department specific initiatives (e.g. store room organization).
  • Ensures purchase records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories are accurate, maintained and filed in an accessible location.
  • Supports purchasing of new products, summarizes and delivers supplier recommendations to company management.
  • Coordinates cost reduction tracking program including reporting on the data as requested.
  • Partners cross-functionally to ensure material requirements are accurate. Communicates with supplier and ensures order is accurate.
  • Completes purchase orders. Ensures invoices are accurately reconciled.
  • Performs assigned clerical tasks accurately and efficiently, including reports and spreadsheets.
  • Manage process for returning materials back to storeroom stock inventory. Ensures inventory sign out sheet is accurate and adjusts when necessary.
  • Oversees the entry of parts/supply information, including entering new parts in database. Performs routine audits to ensure the accuracy of data.
  • Verifies that obsolete inventory is identified and works with controller/maintenance and management for proper disposal.
  • Responsible for managing team members, including interviewing, hiring, and training and developing; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Partner with HR on all employee relations issues.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance or similar field
  • 5+ plus years of maintenance repair or related field experience in a similar industry.
  • 3+ years stock maintenance for inventory and purchasing experience.
  • Supply system operation and performance knowledge and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to lead, coach, influence, motivate, develop and engage a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage day-to-day operations and projects in a challenging, complex, time sensitive environment.
  • Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and manufacturing operating systems such as SAP.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Internal and external customer focus with demonstrated sustainable performance
  • Strong Mechanical/Electrical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of all working processes and expert in authorized levels of SAP software
  • Ability to train and develop team members.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call as needed.

Summary: Responsible for a variety of tasks that require knowledge and/or ability to learn packaging equipment and assist when needed on major utility systems. Ability to progress and desire to learn of high importance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


1. Maintains machines with respect to bearings, assembly, disassembly, power transmission, rigging, and lubrication.

2. Effectively completes bench work utilizing common hand tools.

3. Can work effectively with an upper-class mechanic to work on electrical systems and components.

4. Learns to do rudimentary pipefitting of water, steam, and air lines with steel, plastic, and copper pipe materials.

5. Performs routing preventative maintenance on designated equipment. Will assist upper class mechanic on major overhauls.

6. Learn to identify potential issues and report these to the necessary persons.

6. Trains and learns most shop equipment and machinery.

7. Works with upper classification mechanic on job layouts and ordering of materials necessary to complete job.

8. Assists in troubleshooting and diagnosing most machine failures.

9. Prepares for work daily with complete set of hand tools as mandated by the supervisor's list.
