Beauty we’re looking for a Senior Manager, Market & Business Insights, who can translate the pulse of culture, the marketplace, and the ever-evolving world of beauty into clear, actionable stories that fuel our rocket-ship growth. If you love digging into data, spotting what’s next, seeing patterns, and turning insights into “let’s go!” moments for the business, this role is for you.
You’ll bring together syndicated data, competitive signals, cultural currents, and marketplace dynamics to help us stay ahead of the curve — and the competition. You’ll craft crisp, compelling narratives, surface whitespace, fuel innovation, sharpen strategy, and champion a truly data-driven organization. This is a role for someone who is innately curious, analytically fierce, a natural storyteller, and energized by building the next generation of insights capabilities at e.l.f.’s breakneck pace.
You’ll be a critical thought partner to teams across the organization, helping us stay steps ahead in an ultra-dynamic, ultra-competitive landscape. You’ll connect dots, inspire action, and bring clarity — all while moving at e.l.f. speed.
This role reports directly to the AVP, Market & Business Insights and is hybrid across any of our e.l.f. hubs (NYC, Oakland, LA).
What You'll Do:

  • Connect the dots and be the voice of what’s happening, and what’s coming next in the market
  • Pull together diverse data sources to build a 360° view of the category, competitive dynamics, cultural shifts, shopper behavior, brand insights, and emerging trends inside and outside beauty.
  • Stay tapped into the fast-moving currents shaping culture and driving beauty trends, bringing forward the insights that matter most for e.l.f.’s next moves.


  • Turn data into influential storytelling
  • Transform complex data and information into sharp, compelling narratives with clear implications that influence senior leaders and ignite action across the business.
  • Create and own insight-driven analysis and presentations from quick turn insights to big-picture storylines and polished Executive-level materials.


  • Champion data-driven decision making
  • Collaborate with partners across brand, innovation, digital, creative, and IMC to ensure insights power decisions, spark ideas, and push the business forward.
  • Identify whitespace, growth levers, and disruptive opportunities using syndicated tools (NielsenIQ, Circana, Euromonitor, Numerator, and others).

Welcome to the e.l.f. Beauty newsroom. The Senior Manager, Content & Strategy,plays a crucial role in amplifying e.l.f. Beauty’s voice through LinkedIn, Substack and other corporate and editorial platforms to develop and position our brand and executives as thought leaders in the industry and beyond.
This role involves creating engaging, insightful and highly relevant content that is fully aligned with our company’s ethos. This position combines strategic storytelling, brand-building expertise and a keen sense of the spaces we need to be to lead as a purpose-driven, results-led company - all with an editorial eye. The senior manager will provide both qualitative and quantitative analysis to regularly give learnings to use in future-facing strategies.
Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Management by developing and executing content strategies for the company and senior executives to support our company narrative, key initiatives, and industry insights, including and not limited to byline opportunities, op-eds, LinkedIn, Substack, podcasts, editorial and

Qualifications:

e.l.f. Beauty, Inc. is currently looking for an experienced and collaborative Senior IP Paralegal to join our dynamic, high-growth beauty company and be a key partner in our small but mighty legal department (one General Counsel, two VP, Assistant General Counsels, and two other Senior Paralegals).
This role will be responsible for providing high level legal support in the management and development of our global trademark portfolio and other IP-related matters.
Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing trademark portfolio and coordinate with outside counsel under guidance
  • Perform and analyze trademark clearance searches, and provide guidance on product names and slogans
  • Review and analyze trademark watch notices
  • Coordinate with outside counsel for new filings, prosecution, and other trademark matters
  • Review advertising and marketing materials for proper trademark usage and accuracy of marketing claims and sufficiency of corresponding substantiation
  • Support intellectual property legal compliance initiatives, including internal training, trademark use guidelines across multiple jurisdictions, and issue spotting
  • Communicate with internal business teams regarding brand protection/IP prosecution needs and deadlines
  • Collect Statements of Use and first use dates for trademark prosecution
  • Formal document management: obtaining signatures for trademark and patent documents (i.e. declarations, assignments, Apostille certification, powers of attorney)
  • Conduct online investigations of possible infringements
  • Conduct copyright searching and application filing
  • Manage matters efficiently with appropriate supervision, escalating issues as needed and coordinating with senior members of the legal department and outside counsel when required
Requirements:

As the Senior Package Designer, you will be responsible for designing disruptive and unique packaging to meet direction within brand, manufacturing and cost constraints. You will handle multiple projects across 1-3 brands reporting to the Senior Director, working closely with the Innovation, Packaging Development, Creative design, Project Management, New Product Development and Operations teams translating designs and problem-solving based on cost constraints and business objectives. In this role, you will be the master trouble-shooter and problem solver, forecasting potential challenges as well as offering cost-effective solutions to achieve desired package designs.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop cost-efficient packaging while maintaining technical accuracy and design aesthetics across all e.l.f. beauty brands
  • Strong knowledge of beauty trends to create thumb stopping designs for packaging, pr kits, social media, swag and collaborations
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials, including plastic and glass component production
  • Knowledge of printing techniques on primary and secondary cartons
  • Spearhead productivity initiatives to enable continual cost reduction through optimization of the entire packaging process.
  • Drive company-wide environmental initiatives through material reduction, use of post consumer recycled resin and other sustainability targets.
  • Maintain harmonized packaging design principles as layed out by the Harmony team
  • Created cross-functional internal partnerships in conjunction with innovation, design, marketing, NPD and operational teams.
  • Drive timely development of high quality, innovative packages based on customer requirements, manufacturability, wall space, and marketing objectives.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of package development and liase with Design team and China NPD team daily to follow up on sample development, modifications etc..
  • Provide leadership to create an environment of teamwork, growth, and technical expertise.
Skills:

  • Extensive package development experience, preferably in prestige beauty and targeting GenZ and GenAlpha
  • Strong and refined typography skills
  • Technical knowledge in beauty packaging a plus
  • Extensive experience working with design, packaging developers, engineers and vendors
  • Ability to think quickly and offer manufacturing solutions in real time
