Local GC in South Bronx is looking for an Accounts Payable / Office Manager to join the team. This is onsite Monday- Friday. Union experience is preferred.
Accounts Payable
- Process and code invoices to correct jobs and cost codes
- Manage vendor payments, retainage, and AP aging
- Track lien waivers and reconcile vendor statements

The Cost Manager provides cost management services including invoice validation, cost forecasting and reporting, change management, close out administration, procurement management, earned value and value engineering. The Cost Manager should have the ability to identify opportunities within a project that will add value and help successfully accomplish the client’s desired project outcome.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue periodic cost reports to senior technical staff Prepare construction related cost estimates, cost plans, and cost strategies.
- Review the cash flow prepared by junior technical staff and issues to senior technical staff
- Review all change orders in accordance with the client’s approval process
- Review all invoices for the project, ensuing that junior technical staff codes the invoices where applicable and forward them to the client’s accounts payable department
- With minimal supervision, provide procurement services for the client, where applicable, for construction and engineering services, including preparing RFP and bid analysis
- Where applicable, overview and report to the client on contractor buyout of subcontract bid packages
- Attend the bi-weekly cost meetings to review procurement status and change order status with the contractors and engineering teams
- Provide cost information on value engineering analysis
- Carry out an earned value analysis of the project on a periodic basis
- Review the contractors close out administration and ensure that they meet their contractual requirements
- Contribute to team performance by collaboration and effective communication.
- Contribute to and understands the clients desired project outcomes, identify opportunities to add value to accomplish the desired outcomes.
- Add to team effort by accomplishing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field, plus four years or relevant experience
- 4+ years of experience in s Cost Management role within construction

Acute Care Surgery Clinical Fellowship

The Stanford Acute Care Surgery Fellowship prepares surgeons for clinical and academic excellence in pursuit of a future where all patients and populations have timely access to high quality surgical rescue. This one-year clinical fellowship is positioned at the frontiers of surgical knowledge, where Stanford's culture of curiosity and exploration drives transformative advances in patient care and surgical science.
Clinical Excellence. Fellows train at Stanford Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center serving a catchment population of over 3 million people across Northern California, with 5,000+ annual trauma activations, 3,500 emergency general surgery consults, and 1,400+ emergency operations. Under the mentorship of 16 trauma and ACS surgeons with diverse clinical and academic interests, fellows, appointed as clinical instructors, gain escalating responsibility for the care of complex trauma and emergency general surgery patients. The program features dedicated chest wall and abdominal wall reconstruction programs offering fellowship concentration opportunities, and cross-training opportunities with our high-volume cardiac and transplant services. Fellows also have the opportunity for an optional exchange with trauma and acute care surgery fellows in Cape Town, South Africa, at one of the world's busiest trauma centers.

Job Summary
The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions. Appointments can be made at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor ranks, commensurate with the individual's record. Applicants from all research areas relevant to the discipline will be considered.
Candidates are also expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.
ISyE faculty are expected to lead independent research at the cutting edge of their field and build a strong sponsored-research program. In addition, they are expected to contribute to both undergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as service to the school, institute, and profession.

An earned doctorate in Industrial Engineering or related field is required by the start of the appointment.
