• Reviews/recommends disposition of procedures and specifications from other departments.

• May prepare product certification packages for submittal to customers.

• Helps internal and external customers in WebCAP functions.
• Surveillance role:
• Conducts oversight and verify product center compliance with procedures, SWI's, and other applicable instructions.
• Conducts physical measurements and tests of components as needed to verify quality characteristics.
• Utilizes judgment and experience to identify issues which affect product quality.
• Conducts independent verification of completion of actions reported as complete within the corrective action program.

  • High School diploma or equivalent education with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Surveillance role:
  • High School diploma or equivalent education with a minimum of 5 years of related manufacturing experience in a nuclear fuel facility.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Good communication skills to comprehend procedures, specifications, and drawings with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors, and customers.

• Salary: $24.10 - $31.50, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Technician (Safety Engineer) to join our team to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of programs aimed at improving safety, ergonomics, environmental quality, and sustainability standards. This role will support our manufacturing facilities in Tallassee, AL; Weatherford, TX; Reno, NV; and Wheeling, WV, and AES Mechanical, requiring 40% travel.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in the creation and enhancement of programs that drive continuous improvements in safety and ergonomics while upholding the highest environmental standards.
• Support the design and development of facilities, work areas, and operational procedures, providing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) recommendations as required.
• Support safety, environmental, and sustainability programs through online databases, monitoring data, and entering data into safety-related systems.
• Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations and stay informed of any changes in laws and regulations that may impact on the organization.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Occupational Safety & Health or Industrial Hygiene degrees) or an equivalent combination of education and 1 year of experience.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, environmental, and workers' compensation practices.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and communication across various levels of the organization.
• Basic knowledge of developing and implementing training programs and continuous improvement methods and practices.
• Strong computer literacy skills, including ability to perform safety tasks through computer-based systems, databases, tools, and the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $49,600 - $65,100 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Lead Postal Affairs & Logistics role is responsible for leading the postal team in developing,

implementing, and managing the company’s postal processes to optimize efficiency, reduce postage and handling costs, and establish a competitive mail service operation for all company sites and its clients. This role will stay abreast of the latest technology and postal changes and become the in-house subject matter expert in this area. This individual will promote continuous improvement while working alongside team members, increasing the company’s expertise in postal affairs. This role will also oversee procurement functions developing vendor relationships securing competitive pricing for both production and postal needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

POSTAL

• Research and propose cost-effective postal process improvement projects and postal saving

campaigns.

• Collaborate with department members to identify and implement process improvements and propose postal cost saving measures for internal and external clients

• Serve as the subject matter expert for UPS, FedEx, and USPS systems, postal processing software,

presorting, and foreign mail workflow.

• Lead department in integration of internal management information systems relating to

inventory and postal functions

• Act as subject matter expert on postal regulations and accountable for documenting and educating all affected departments

• Serve as main point of contact when negotiating service agreements / best pricing with vendors

and make recommendations to management

• Oversee postal promotions ensuring successful implementation and maintaining project plan

for each

• Train internal teams on postal processes and compliance, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost

savings.

• Oversee collection of postal metrics and mailing analyses

• Mentor and act as backup for all team functions

• Perform other duties as assigned

PROCUREMENT

• Oversee identification of prospective suppliers, negotiation of favorable pricing and

contract terms and creation supplier performance metrics and reporting.

• Oversee submission and management of orders with external suppliers, establishing reorder point and reorder quantity guidelines.

• Collaborate with team members and oversee communication and timeliness of order process

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

• Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5-7 years of related postal or procurement field experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products and experience with mail processing

software.
