RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
/n
• Work in ED Holds unit on 2 East floor with 22 beds and 30 staff members
/n• Maximum patient ratio of 6:1 with ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time
/n• Must have 1+ years acute med/surg/tele experience within the last year
/n• Preferred: 2+ years experience working Telemetry PCI, CABG POD 2
/n• Standard nursing skills required: IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance, medication administration, EKG interpretation
/n• Additional skills: Continuous Bladder Irrigation, NGT insertion/maintenance, documentation in EHR
/n• Work with Meditech EMR system and standard telemetry equipment
/n• Provide care for med/surg/telemetry patients
/n• Communication with all members of care team required
/n• Float to med/surg/tele units as needed
/n• Royal Blue scrubs required
/n• Weekend coverage as needed on unit with no on-call responsibilities
/n• Must maintain friendly, positive, patient-centered, team-focused personality
