Job Responsibilities:
The Director of Engineering Operations is responsible for overseeing the Operations engineering team’s work efforts including technical review and field commissioning of new construction, renovation projects, and significant system upgrades, as well as advanced technical troubleshooting of the Johns Hopkins Health System’s and School of Medicine’s healthcare, teaching and research facilities. - Prepare estimates used for bidding and budgeting purposes (including self-performed work); participate in internal estimate review process and assist with final recap of estimate for presentation to senior management.
- Support project management tasks, including budgeting, schedule development, interim design review, change order pricing, procurement, value engineering, and vendor selection based on proposal development.
- Coordinate with project teams to evaluate productivity for historical data and schedule/ cost forecasting purposes.
- Maintain and improve supplier and subcontractor database utilizing the company’s prequalification program.
- Supervise junior estimators, estimating assistants and/or Interns, providing training and support in a mentoring capacity and review work products for quality control.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of estimating software material cost databases to ensure accurate costs are consistently utilized on bids; communicate data on construction and material cost trends affecting project costs to project teams.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in departmental processes, approach, and execution of estimating and preconstruction functions; assist in creating or adopting new tools to maximize productivity with the lowest attendant value of acceptable risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or related field, or a combination of education (including trade schools) and professional experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in preconstruction/estimating with a focus on mechanical systems (i.e., Fire Protection, HVAC, Plumbing, Piping).

Position Summary
Our client is seeking a seasoned HVAC professional who understands commercial equipment from the inside out and knows how to guide building owners toward the right replacement solution. If you cut your teeth as a commercial HVAC technician and later stepped into sales or estimating, this role gives you a chance to put both worlds to work.
You’ll lead the replacement sales process for chillers, boilers, rooftop units, cooling systems, and other commercial mechanical equipment. This is a relationship-forward role where accuracy, clarity, and consultative guidance matter as much as technical expertise.
What You’ll Do
• Develop quotes and estimates for commercial HVAC replacement projects ranging from $20K to $500K
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate equipment condition and replacement needs
• Recommend solutions based on mechanical best practices, energy efficiency, and lifecycle cost
• Build and maintain relationships with facility managers, owners, and general contractors
• Collaborate with internal teams for pricing, scheduling, and execution
• Track and manage your pipeline to meet revenue goals
• Provide post-sale support to ensure a smooth project handoff
What You Bring
• Background as a commercial HVAC technician, followed by experience in sales, estimating, or project development
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial HVAC equipment replacement or project sales
• Strong understanding of chillers, boilers, RTUs, cooling systems, and mechanical systems
• Ability to walk a client through options clearly and confidently
• Strong estimating, quoting, and scope development skills
• Valid driver's license (vehicle allowance provided)

Position Summary: We are looking for an Account Manager for our beautiful Miami Showroom located in Coral Gables . This individual will focus on developing and nurturing relationships with clients and partners, including builders, designers, contractors, and homeowners. They will oversee the sales cycle from prospecting to close and ensure a seamless experience. Experience in outside sales is essential to thrive in this role; background in appliance or plumbing sales is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target new business opportunities through networking, lead generation, and referrals.
- Proactively manage existing accounts to increase sales volume and strengthen relationships.
- Act as the primary contact for customers, coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth deliveries and installations.
- Provide accurate product knowledge, pricing details, and all relevant information to help customers make informed decisions.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of our product lines and other specialty offerings.
- Maintain accurate sales records, client interactions, and account activity within the company’s CRM system.
- Offer consultative advice on appliance and plumbing features.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Participate in periodic sales meetings, forecasting, and goal-setting sessions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience.
- Appliance/Plumbing knowledge is preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Experience in plumbing sales.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High level of self-motivation and entrepreneurial drive.
