Responsible For: The Staff Nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with attending physicians on plan of care and clinical decision-making
- Interpret diagnostic studies and laboratory results
- Perform required invasive ICU procedures per credentialing
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds each shift
