Lab Analyst I
This position performs routine testing on all samples in the Analytical Services laboratory, providing analytical data for process control, quality control, process development, product development, and waste management. Employee will be required to work eight hours shifts, and rotating days within shift every three to four months. KC Quality Control lab is a 24 hours production site that operates on three shifts.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform routine analytical testing as directed by protocols and work instructions.
• Work a variety of shifts (including weekends and holidays).
• Request additional work to increase team productivity.
• Prepare solutions, clean glassware, dispose of solid/liquid waste and other duties to help in the overall operations of the laboratory.
• Train others on waste management.

• Communicate troubleshooting opportunities in testing processes.

We are seeking a highly motivated Chemistry Lab Technician to join our Analytical Chemistry team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with analysis using Gas Chromatography with Flame Ionization Detection (GC-FID), and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). This role involves preparing samples for analysis, performing analytical testing while ensuring accurate and reliable results, maintaining instrumentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Chemistry Lab Technician Key Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY
The Controls Leader will provide key leadership with regard to power and control systems, equipment specification and maintenance, proper operation, technician development, troubleshooting and repair to achieve or exceed reliability targets the plant. This role has responsibility for systems optimization, compliance, personnel safety and technician skill development relative to plant electrical power and process control systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists primary administrator and troubleshooter for plant power and control systems and is a key member of plant technical leadership.
- Provides input to the Engineering Projects Manager to develop and manage power and control standards and ensure application of the standards on all projects and upgrades.
- Leads the execution of the site masterplan for power and controls systems to include understanding of the installed base, and replacement plan for obsolete equipment/technologies.
- Builds and maintains a sustainable system for plant Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) technicians skill development. Coaches technicians on skill assessment and development of operating within the department.
- Manages Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) technicians and daily direction setting.
- Knows, communicates, and ensures technician compliance to local and national regulator codes (NFPA 70, NFPA 70e, NFPA 79 and OSHA 1910). Is also responsible for ensuring equipment and safe practice compliance in their area of responsibility.
- Responsible for validation of the MES data from PLCs. Support plant Process Engineers in conditioning PLC data to accommodate effective data analysis including application development.
- Provides support in the design and implementation of machine control and process automation applications, such as: control strategies, HMI design, MES applications and KPI development.
- Works with engineering and operations to identify losses, and develop plans and strategies to eliminate them, in the areas of safety, quality, reliability and cost.

We are seeking an experienced Primavera P6 Scheduler to join our Project Controls team and support the successful delivery of major industrial and infrastructure projects.
Position Overview
The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. This position plays a critical role in planning, forecasting, and tracking performance on large-scale electrical and instrumentation projects.
This is an onsite role that works closely with project management, field supervision, subcontractors, and owners to ensure schedule integrity, transparency, and actionable reporting.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of construction sequencing, earned value principles, and schedule risk analysis—and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced industrial jobsite environment.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule Development & Control
Develop and maintain detailed resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6.
Build baseline schedules aligned with contractual milestones, scope, and execution strategy.
Incorporate procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities into integrated project schedules.
Update schedules regularly with field progress and ensure data accuracy.
Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and recovery strategies.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Analyze schedule performance and support Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.
Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports for internal leadership and clients.
Generate look-ahead schedules and support short-interval planning efforts.
Evaluate schedule impacts from change orders, delays, and scope modifications.
Support time impact analysis (TIA) and claims documentation as required.
Collaboration & Field Integration
Work directly with project managers, superintendents, and discipline leads to validate sequencing and progress.
Facilitate schedule review meetings and drive accountability for updates.
Support coordination between engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction teams.
Align scheduling practices with The Newtron Group’s Project Controls standards and reporting systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
3–7 years of scheduling experience in industrial, infrastructure, or large commercial construction.
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (required).
Strong understanding of CPM scheduling principles and critical path analysis.
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction workflows.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, deadline-driven project environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction.
Experience supporting data center, industrial manufacturing, or energy projects.
Familiarity with cost systems, Power BI reporting, or integrated project controls platforms.
PMP, PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional), or similar certification (a plus).

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
The Electronics Specialist is responsible for solving problems not resolved by plant electricians. This includes working closely with electricians to resolve problems and requires mechanical knowledge of the equipment. This position reports directly to the Plant Engineering Manager.
- Program, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Programmable Logic Controllers utilizing PC and manufacturer’s programming software. Recognize and correct potential problems in programs on new equipment installs as well as streamline programs for maximum efficiency and safety.
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair process instrumentation and control equipment such as PID loop controllers, I/P and E/P converters, pressure transducers, and pneumatic actuators
- Maintain, calibrate, and repair electronic scales and other ingredient weighing devices to include documentation to ensure ISO 9000 requirements are met.
- Setup, program, troubleshoot and repair variable speed AC and DC drive systems and related instrumentation and control equipment such as tach generators, pulse encoders, strain gauges, and dancer control systems.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Process laser micrometer measuring equipment and associated instrumentation and control equipment
- Assist Facilities Engineering in specifying, installing, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Assist Process Engineering and Production personnel on implementation of processes and design changes.
- Communicate with vendors for repair/purchase of equipment.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- Associates Degree or higher in Industrial Electronics Technology or similar
- Allen Bradley PLC Programming Experience
- 5 years or more experience
- Good computer Skills related to machinery control. HMI, PLC Programming, Ladder Logic
- Working knowledge of word processor programs and spreadsheets (MS Word and Excel)
- Working knowledge of related test equipment (oscilloscope, Multimeter, recorders, megohmmeter, digital low resistance OHM meters, etc.)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
