Job Description: Responsible for assisting the planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities occurring in the nursing unit by performing clerical and receptionist duties, and performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state
Qualifications
Education: High school or equivalent preferred. Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA Certification from Nevada Board of Nursing
Technical Skills: Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.
License/Certification: Current CNA license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification required.
Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

- Average of 30/hrs of coverage daily for both Physicians and APC; staffing changes made for seasonal fluctuations in PEDs census.
- 1.8 patients per hour daily.
- EMR is Cerner.
- Pediatric Trauma Center ACS Level 2; Arizona State Level 1.
- Level 3 NICU.
- 24-bed PICU with 2 in-house Intensivists available 24/7.

- Education: High School or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Two years-experience in a hospital admitting office or physician office preferred. Two years of experience verifying health-care insurance and securing pre-authorizations for medical procedures. Must be knowledgeable and understand coordination of benefits to ensure a seamless billing and reimbursement process.
