What you will do

We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I or II) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing venipunctures and other specimen collection procedures with accuracy and professionalism. Key responsibilities include preparing patients for blood draws, properly labeling and handling specimens, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. The CPT will also be expected to follow all infection control and safety guidelines, maintain accurate records, and comply with California Department of Public Health (CA DPH) regulations. Strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to quality care, and maintaining current certification and training are essential.

CPT Summary of Job Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens, ensuring proper labeling and handling for integrity.
• Interact professionally and compassionately with patients, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process.
• Follow protocols to ensure accuracy, reliability, and high standards in specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate records and enter data into the laboratory information system (LIS).
• Adhere to strict infection control practices during specimen collection.
• Clean and maintain phlebotomy equipment, reporting issues promptly.
• Stay updated on phlebotomy techniques and regulations, participating in ongoing education.
• Ensure compliance with CA DPH regulations and maintain required licensures.

Qualifications:

• California Dept. of Public Health (CDPH) License in Phlebotomy (CPT-I)
• Minimum of one year phlebotomy experience in a healthcare setting
• Ability to work alone and can follow protocol, procedures, and regulations
• Must be able to work weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Proof of Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) if applicable
• Current CPR Card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Must have proof of MMR, Varicella vaccinations or titers.
• Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 Months
• Current Annual Health Clearance
• Reliable source of transportation

What you will do

Unit Support Assistant Summary of Job Responsibilities:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects, including HVAC and plumbing scopes. This role involves end-to-end project oversight—covering scheduling, budgeting, staffing coordination, and safety planning. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 – $100,000 DOE, along with 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage for employees. Additional standard benefits are also provided. This is a permanent, full-time position with travel across Alaska required as needed.
