Paves Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Databricks Lead Data Engineer – Lead Level (Director Equivalent Role) to drive enterprise-scale data architecture, governance, and advanced analytics initiatives on Azure Cloud. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep Databricks expertise, strong data modeling capabilities, and hands-on architectural ownership across PySpark based distributed systems.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will bring 10-12 + years of overall data engineering experience, including strong hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks, PySpark, Python, and Azure Cloud data services. You will define architecture standards, lead modernization initiatives, and implement scalable Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) to support enterprise analytics and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end architecture and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms using Azure Databricks on Azure Cloud.
  • Design and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) using Delta Lake best practices.
  • Build scalable PySpark-based ETL/ELT pipelines across ingestion (Bronze), transformation (Silver), and curated analytics (Gold) layers.
  • Develop advanced data transformations using Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and advanced SQL constructs.
  • Architect robust data models (dimensional, star schema, normalized models) aligned to analytics and reporting needs.
  • Drive adoption of advanced Databricks capabilities including Unity Catalog, Declarative Pipelines, Delta Lake optimization, and governance frameworks.
  • Establish best practices for partitioning strategies, file compaction, Z-ordering, caching, broadcast joins, and query optimization.
  • Define and standardize reusable Azure Cloud data platform tools, templates, CI/CD frameworks, and infrastructure automation.
  • Work across Azure ecosystem components such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure DevOps, networking, and security services.
  • Ensure high standards for data quality, RBAC, lineage tracking, governance, and production stability.
  • Provide architectural leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams.


Required Experience & Skills

  • 10–12+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering.
  • Minimum 3+ years of strong hands-on Databricks experience.

What you’ll achieve

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect (SA) specializing in Data Center Liquid Cooling, with emphasis on rear‑door heat exchangers (RDHx) and cooling distribution units (CDUs). This is a new capability within our organization, and you will serve as our primary expert in liquid‑based thermal solutions for high‑density compute environments.
In this post‑sales architecture role, you will work directly with customers to understand their requirements, design full liquid cooling solutions, support field teams during deployments, and help shape our internal best practices around liquid cooling technologies.

You will:
Customer Engagement & Post‑Sales Architecture
Lead technical discovery sessions with customers to gather thermal, environmental, mechanical, and operational requirements
Design end‑to‑end liquid cooling solutions featuring rear‑door heat exchangers, CDUs, manifolds, hoses, fittings, and facility water loop considerations
Produce detailed solution designs including schematics, BOMs, system flow diagrams, thermal performance expectations, and installation guidelines
Translate customer requirements into scalable, supportable, and reliable architectures
Deployment & Field Support
Support field engineering teams during installation, commissioning, and validation of RDHx and CDU systems
Provide technical oversight on-site or remotely, ensuring the deployed system aligns with the approved design
Troubleshoot flow rates, pressure drops, temperature deltas, coolant quality, sensor behavior, and CDU operational parameters

The Physical Therapy Assistant Provides clinical physical therapy treatments for program participants on acute, restorative and maintenance levels as needed. Follows the treatment plan as per Registered Physical Therapist assessment and documented care plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A graduate from a physical therapist assistant curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Colorado.
  • Minimum of one-year experience working with the frail or elderly population required.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of physical, psychosocial and behavioral needs of the elderly population.
  • Able to understand medical terminology and how it applies to physical therapy, to communicate with participants, staff, IDT and physicians, and how to prepare meaningful reports.
  • Ability to communicate with the participants to establish favorable attitude to motivate the participants to desired cooperation and effort in his/her rehabilitation development.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform physical therapy treatments and related duties as may be delegated by the physical therapist.
  • Communicate Participant's changes and progress per treatment plan on a regular basis to Registered Physical Therapist.
  • Maintain proper documentation according to state, federal PACE regulations.
  • Maintain proper records according to PACE policy and procedures.
  • Perform and record, if required, as specified by the planned treatment program, non-evaluative on-going data: Measurements of vital signs, range of motion, strength and linear increments; Types of assistive mobility devices used, and the distances covered; Results of tests and evaluations performed by the registered physical therapist.
  • Respond to psych-social support needs of the participant and/or the participant's family.
  • Communicate appropriately and effectively with all personnel and to document according to professional standards.
  • Keep timely records, meet regularly with the Registered Physical Therapist and attend care conferences as requested.
  • Participate in patient care conferences and other rehabilitation related meetings as appropriate.
  • Communicate with Registered Physical Therapist and IDT members regarding patient progress, problems and plans.
  • Participate in in-service training programs for all staff in the facility.
  • Instruct participant and family members and nursing staff in restorative and therapeutic maintenance programs.
  • Abides by regulations pertaining to PACE as established by Federal and State Agencies and the Volunteers of America Health Facilities policies.
  • Attends required in-services & completes assigned online modules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
