What You'll Do

- Act as a trusted advisor by using travel expertise to proactively provide advice and selling additional services to clients to meet their needs while adhering to their company's travel policy

For a period of two years or less, the High Potential will follow an intensive and varied program of experiences at different Katoen Natie terminals. Within this program, participants will grow in their career with Katoen Natie through varied educational and practical experiences, having opportunities to participate in projects (both locally and globally) while networking with colleagues around the world. Job Location
This is a remote role. This person must reside in the greater Joliet, IL area.
Job Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes and achieves a consistent daily and weekly customer schedule, i.e. "store visits" in the most efficient manner to meet customer needs and expectations and maintain cost effectiveness
- Proactively monitors proper inventory levels in the stores using cycle counts and various reports. Works with customer service and replenishment teams to resolve any discrepancies
- Participates in regional company training classes and events
- Leads and/or participates in a wide variety of customer events; demonstration clinics, product knowledge classes, contractor events, weekend special events, promo events, associate training, and community outreach programs
- Properly builds and installs product displays and new store resets
- Ensures product is safely stacked and/or properly secured
- Provides suggestions and shares ideas with supervisor and team to maximize shelf space
Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle to travel to and from customer locations and local Oldcastle businesses as needed
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs
- Use of basic hand and power tools

Role and Responsibilities
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Setup and operate metal fabrication machinery according to drawings and within tolerances.
- Pass a welding certification test in MIG and Flux core welding.
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Use of general hand tools and measuring devices
- Able to perform different tasks as needed per manager or supervisor.
- Power Coating
- Painting preparations
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Required
- High School Diploma
- Or 2 years of experience in the field

- Welding certification
- Apprentice program.

As a Travel Consultant, you will provide outstanding customer service to defense & government travelers before, during, and after their business trips. Through our winning combination of outstanding people and innovative technology, we're focused on ensuring that the travel experience of our customers is unforgettable from start to finish, for all the right reasons.
What You'll Do
- Creates domestic and international travel arrangements for clients to include air, hotel, rail, and ground transportation
- Ensure reservations are built according to client standards and preferences
- Act as a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful recommendations that provide the best traveler experience
- Handle a wide range of bookings from simple ones to complex bookings with potentially non-standard and multi-destinations, ticket exchanges, and complex fares
- Make changes or solve any issues that might occur during or before the travel assignments including both routine and non-routine work
- Benefit from comprehensive training by experienced colleagues and use our social intranet to always stay up-to-date
What We're Looking For
- 3 or more years' experience working as a Travel Consultant (or 5 years in other customer service industry)
- Advanced knowledge of GDS (Sabre)
- U.S. citizenship required due to Federal Government contract
- A genuine passion for high-quality customer service — we care about our customers and it's important to us that you do too.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- A positive, "can do" attitude.
