Summary:
Rails is seeking an in-house Technical Designer. We are a fast-moving company with rapidly expanding collections and are seeking a driven individual who has strong time management skills, great with working on a team, and an entrepreneurial attitude.
The Technical Designer reports to the Technical Design Director.
Responsibilities:
- Measure incoming garments against vendor supplied measurements.
- Prepare and track samples and counter samples and make sure approval dates are met.
- Participate in technical fittings by preparing samples, taking notes, completing fit lists, and model booking.
- Generate detailed sketch and tech packs.
- Communicate to factories in various methods, i.e. pattern correction, digital photos, technical sketches.
- Collaborate with designers, production, merchants and overseas vendors.
- Daily communication with overseas and internal departments.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of technical design experience - in all categories in Men's and Women's
- Proficient in PC applications including MS Excel
- Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and grading
- Flexible and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong team player with an attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be able to maintain an onsite presence at our Los Angeles office 4 days out of the week

Train Refueling Key Responsibilities

Major Purpose: 60;The Site Leader is the production level employee responsible for assisting the Regional Manager in providing superior and safe customer service through the implementation of the VRS Operating System at the worksite. 60; 60;The Site Leader will report directly to the Regional Manager and assist in the necessary business processes as directed. 60;

- Performs the production tasks of a Direct to Locomotive Fuel Technician.
- Ensures their location is consistently turning in accurate reports to their Coordinator on time (FAR, SAR, BOL, Time sheets, and Purchase Card Receipts, etc.)
- Ensures Eagle eye, Geotab, and ADP time keeping compliance are implemented for all drivers.
- Ensures Third Party Audits are meeting VRS and Customer Standards.
- Develops the site customer(s) relationship by:
- Maintaining contact with the customer at the local level to ensure that we have a complete understanding of the customer’s needs, schedule, special service requests, etc.
- Communicating service deviations, customer complaints and service failures to their Regional Manager and responding as instructed.
- Participating in root cause analysis of service failures and in the development of corrective actions and implementing identified solutions.

- Assists the Regional Manager by ensuring that site employees are hired, trained, and treated right by:

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred
- Strong background in diagnosing issues with industrial pumping and hydraulic systems, coordinating with repair shops for resolution, and ensuring minimal operational downtime.

- Independently diagnose and repair:
- Diesel and gasoline engines (intake, fuel, cooling, aftertreatment/emissions components).
- Drivetrain components including clutches, transmissions, differentials, PTOs, and drive lines.
- Air and hydraulic brake systems, ABS, and suspension components.
- Hydraulic systems on refuse equipment (packer bodies, arms, cylinders, pumps, valves, and hose routing).
- Electrical systems including starting/charging, multiplex wiring, sensors, and lighting.
Preventive Maintenance & Compliance
- Perform and sign off on DOT-compliant inspections and PMs, ensuring all safety-critical items are addressed and documented.
- Accurately interpret and close out DVIR/eDVIR defects; communicate recurring defects to leadership for root-cause analysis.
- Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software, service bulletins, and wiring schematics to troubleshoot complex issues.
Road Calls & Operational Support
- Respond to road calls and breakdowns throughout the NYC tri-state area; perform safe temporary or permanent repairs to return vehicles to service or coordinate towing as needed.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, supervisors, and drivers on repair status and estimated completion times.
Mentorship, Training & Documentation
- Guide and mentor Level C technicians on best practices, safety, troubleshooting, and proper repair methods.
- Complete work orders thoroughly, capturing complaint, cause, correction, labor hours, and parts used.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for PM compliance, repeat repair reduction, and parts standardization.
- Independently diagnose and repair:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3–5+ years hands-on experience as a diesel, truck, or heavy equipment mechanic/technician, including diagnostics and major component replacement.
- Valid CDL Class B (or higher) with air brake endorsement strongly preferred to perform road tests and move equipment on public roads within NY/NJ/CT.
- Demonstrated proficiency with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret OEM service manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience in refuse/solid waste, municipal, or LTL/heavy trucking fleet operating in urban environments preferred.
- ASE certifications in Medium/Heavy Truck (T series) or Truck Equipment (E series); working toward Master status preferred.
- Basic welding and cutting skills (MIG, stick, torch) for brackets, hangers, and minor body fabrication preferred.
- Familiarity with computerized fleet maintenance and parts inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities
Performs Patient Care Activities as delegated by the Nurse utilizing applicable policies and procedures to ensure patient needs and expectations are met.

- Provides hygiene needs of assigned patients (AM/PM care, oral hygiene and denture care, perineal care, shampoo, bathing, shaving, care of TED/SCD hose.)
- Provides nutritional needs of assigned patients. (Tray distribution, setting up trays, offering supplements, feeding, adding tube feeding and recording intake.)
- Provides elimination needs of assigned patient. (Foley care, bowel movements, bladder training, enemas, and external catheters; records output.)
- Provides skin care of assigned patients. (turning, positioning, recognition and prevention of skin breakdown, operation of special beds, nail care, and back rubs.)
- Provides comfort measures (Proper positioning, back rubs, oral care, wrinkle free bed sheets and ensuring that bedside table, water pitcher, urinal are within reach.)
- Provides activity needs of assigned patients (i.e. turning, chair, ambulating, walker, and crutches).
- Performs measurements of assigned patients (I&O, hemoccult, gastrocult, TPR, B/P, weights, empty drains, abdominal girth, hose measurements).
- Performs additional skills as directed and supervised by the nurse, after training and certification, i.e. intermittent urinary catheterization, phlebotomy, and clean dressing changes (varies by unit or area).
- Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge of patient.
- Completes assigned aspects of admission process including vital signs, height and weight, room setup, room orientation, assists patient to bed, assures call light available etc.
- Sets up equipment for care (IV poles, admission kit, others)
- Stores and transfers belongings (dentures, hearing aids, glasses and other personal items).
- Packs up all patient belongings at discharge.
- Achieves patient satisfaction when providing patient care.
- Makes rounds minimally every two hours to assure that patients are comfortable, positioned properly, call light available, room orderly.
