Overview: David Webb is seeking an experienced Bench Jeweler and Enameler for its unique, extraordinary workshop in the heart of Manhattan's Upper East Side.

Our workshop sits directly above the Company's flagship boutique, in an historic Neo-Classical building on Madison Avenue in New York’s Upper East Side. 28 jewelers, setters, and polishers combine many of David Webb’s long-held traditions with the latest technology in jewelry design and development.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

David Webb jewelers support one of the world’s most prestigious jewelry workshops. We are excited to add exceptionally talented, experienced bench jewelers to our team.

Specific skill sets should include:

• Experience in high-end jewelry fabrication
• Proficiency in hand fabrication of jewelry pieces
• Expertise in working with gold and platinum, including soldering, casting cleaning, and assembling
• Experience with laser welding machines

We're looking for an extraordinary jeweler who also happens to be a wonderful person - our workshop is a family. A minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally in a high-jewelry environment, is required. Note that candidates will be required to perform an on-site bench test before hiring.

Essential Job Functions:

• Leads and models a customer first culture across all roles.

Analyzing and Decision Making:

• Monitor the store payroll to assist in ensuring hours do not exceed the monthly budget, accurately monitoring and acknowledging timesheets for all roles that clock in and out for all scheduled shifts, breaks and meals.
• Assist in leading the store to achieve Total Monthly Income (TMI) Goals consistently by executing foundational excellence and performance-based leadership, for front of house and alterations combined.
• Monitors inventory management, special orders, receiving processes, layaway, mark out of stock, repairs, and ensures first quality standards for all merchandise.

Managing Performance:

• Communicates daily sales goals to all team members and drives action through Chat Ins/Chat Outs.
• Observes individual team member performance and enforces action plans for improvement through weekly performance discussions using customer reviews and mystery shops.
• Assists in building a strong bench and talent pipeline, ensuring the store is always staffed, to achieve all staffing goals and fills open positions within 30 days.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Credentials:

• High School Diploma or degree.
• Two-four years prior retail management experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior experience with a computerized POS system.

Work Hours and Physical Demands:

Full time hours Sunday through Saturday 40 hours a week. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time; reach for tools and objects with hands and arms; climb stairs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk to and hear customers. The employee must occasionally lift to 25 pounds. Position Summary:

This position is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of the modality for which they are currently cross-training. Communicates and works independently in performing all procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritizes, provides, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of St. David's Healthcare Maintains and supports facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with JCAHO regulations and standards. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions.

Position Requirements:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• • -Required to have at least two of the credentials bulleted below.
  • Registered technologist with current certification by ARRT (R) and CE compliance. ARRT (VI), (CV), or (MRI) certification within one (1) year of cross-training start date.
  • ARRT (CT) certification within six (6) months of cross-training start date.

Required:

• - Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC.

Education:

• Graduate of AMA-approved school of radiologic technology.

Experience:

• 2 years of previous diagnostic experience in an acute care facility is desirable.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Familiar with the majority of diagnostic radiology procedures. High degree of manual, mental and dexterity skills necessary for the operation of equipment and patient care. Capable of applying technical skills to all ages of patients.

Degree of Supervision Required:

• Able to work independently.

IV. Orientation Period:

• 60 days contingent upon experience. Extensive orientation may be required and will be determined by the department Director/designee.
