The Specialty Radiology Technologist abides by the legal boundaries of practice based on the knowledge
and statutes of the designated State Radiology Technology Board of Examiners and State Professional

Job Title: MRI Technologist
Employment Type: Per Diem
Shift: On call duties, evenings, Mon thru Frid 1730-2400, Weekends Commitment of 1 weekend a month minimum. May include day shift occasionally for PTO coverage.

Position Purpose
The technologist is responsible for performing all MRI/MRA procedures including those utilizing injected contrast agents. The
technologist selects proper technical factors and coils. The technologist must show independent judgment when performing procedures
and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The technologist is responsible for evaluating images for technical quality.
What you will do:
Perform all MRI/MRA procedures
Utilize hospital EMR and Radiology PACS with accuracy
Assesses patients to determine ability to undergo ordered procedure
Accept additional assignments and tasks
Provide MRI co PD position to include on call duties, evenings, Mon thru Frid 1730-2400, Weekends Commitment of 1 weekend a month minimum. May include day shift occasionally for PTO coverage. Coverage after hours, weekends and holidays participating in “ON-CALL” rotation

What you will do:
Abiding by the Mercycare Mission and values, under the direction of the Chief of Medical Imaging, the CT Technologist II performs all CT procedures in accordance with department standards.
Responsibilities:
- Obtains and records a complete clinical history pertinent to examination requested.

Under the direction of the Breast Center Director, the Mammography Technologist performs mammography, breast localization and stereotactic diagnostic procedures in accordance with department ACR and MQSA guidelines.
Responsibilities:

- Instructs patients as to the nature of the exam being performed, explains procedure to baseline patients, reviews procedure with others.
