Candidate must have a strong balance of skills including, but not limited to; clinical experience in HIV treatment and prevention LGBTQ health, especially care for transgender youth; track record of success leading a multidisciplinary staff; academic productivity; and high level administrative skills such as managing program/grant deliverables and CQI initiatives, grant writing and reporting, and budget management.
Proven ability to effectively communicate with providers, community organizations, diverse youth and family populations is also required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:? Direct all medical and psychosocial services and clinical staff ? Coordinate clinical services with all other AAP programs including research, outreach, and training ? Participate in programmatic grant writing, reporting, and strategic planning ? Develop and deliver provider trainings on HIV and LGBTQ health ? Training experience in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine or Family Practice, and experience working clinically with adolescents and young adults ?
