Ongoing General Urology Locums - Block Scheduling in the Pacific Northwest
Practice Setting
- Combination of clinic and call coverage at a single medical center
- Excellent support staff: 2 RNs, 2 front office staff, MA, and Surgery Scheduler
- Hospitalist team handles all admissions
- Typical patient volume: 20-25 patients per day in clinic
Schedule
- Flexible Block Scheduling
- Minimum commitment of 3 months locums coverage
- Shift-Based Schedule: Clinic (8a-4p), Night Call (5p-8a), and 24-hour Call (7a-7a)
- Rotation includes minimum of 5-6 days of call plus clinic per month
Procedures and Cases
- Scope of duties is general urology, covering bread and butter procedures
- High surgical volume: 20-30 cases per month
- Procedures include Cystoscopy, TURP, vasectomy, prostate biopsy, Ureteroscopy, and ESWL
- Robotics available on site for those comfortable, but robotic procedures are not required
Requirements
- Must be a Board Certified/Eligible Urologist
- Minimum of 3 months locums coverage commitment
- Must be experienced in high-volume, general urology care
- Agreement to the terms of the patient volumes and practice setting

Position Details GP4 focuses on Palliative, Hospice, and Medical Surgical (not all patients are palliative or hospice, some are medical surgical, but there are efforts in motion to aggregate patients to this unit that are likely to transition' to palliative vs curative efforts during their hospital stay).

Job Summary
