- Provide general gastroenterology clinical care in hospital and GI lab settings
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including ERCP, colonoscopy, and upper endoscopy
- Manage a caseload of ~15–20 patients/day and weekend procedure volume of 5–7
- Participate in weeknight and weekend call coverage as scheduled
- Document patient care and procedures accurately in EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, anesthesia, surgery, radiology) to optimize patient outcomes

Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Current Georgia state license as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) — required to present
- Graduation from an accredited CAA program
- Certification or recertification by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
- At least 1 year of experience as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant
- Must be open to the required 5x10s schedule and full monthly availability
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain or verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and perioperative plans with patients
- Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia for a variety of cases, including general, neuro, and orthopedic procedures
- Monitor patients’ physiological status throughout procedures and perform clinical interventions as needed
- Collaborate with supervising anesthesiologists and CRNAs in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both outpatient clinic and hospital settings (labor & delivery, inpatient care)
- Manage predominantly low-risk OB population (~90%) with experience handling occasional high-risk cases (~10%) and appropriate escalation to maternal-fetal specialists
- Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring and perform/interpret Level I OB ultrasounds (screening)
- Perform routine and complex deliveries including vaginal, C-section, breech, multiples, VBACs, and repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations
- Conduct office-based gynecology procedures (IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.) and surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic diagnostic/operative procedures) as indicated
- Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, APPs, and clinical support staff to deliver patient-centered women's health care
- Document and manage patient care using the EPCT electronic medical record; maintain accurate clinical notes and billing documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation, triage obstetric patients, and coordinate hospital admissions and operative care when needed
