Job Summary:

The Medication Assistance Coordinator serves as the hub for prior authorizations, patient assistance programs, co-pay
assistance program, foundation programs, and additional programs allowing patients to access medications associated
with key service lines within the medical center as well as health system clinics. This position is responsible for providing
front line, direct contact with patients, families, providers, nurses, social workers and pharmacies. The Medication
Assistance Coordinator performs all the essential functions of the Senior Pharmacy Technician.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Screens, processes and completes prior authorization, patient assistance, co-pay assistance, foundation
assistance and other medication programs
Follows up with patients & providers on refill and reauthorizations as required by payers or assistance
programs
Processes prescriptions through IT platforms in an accurate manner
Coordinates shipping and delivery activities associated with common carrier and courier services to assure
accurate and timely medication delivery
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Required Minimum Education:

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Youth Program Managers of Youth Education and Youth Well-Being, and to be prepared to assume the roles and responsibilities in the program manager’s extended absence. This role requires strong leadership, administrative accuracy, and financial acumen. This position involves a detailed understanding of youth education, youth well-being programs, scholarship and grant administration, investigatory research, and concern for the health, welfare, and education of America’s youth.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist in maintaining a working knowledge of the day-to-day program administration and standard operating procedures for the range of American Legion youth scholarships, child well-being foundation (CWF), veterans & children foundation (VCF), and other collateral responsibilities assigned to respective program managers.
  • Administer American Legion Youth scholarships

a. Grade applications by reviewing and validating submitted documentation.

b. Liaise with scholarship applicants, recipients, and families as required to assist.

c. Maintain records of scholarships and other relevant information.

  • Handle initial intake and review of all grant applications for financial assistance, working with departments and investigators to ensure completeness and accuracy in ascertaining financial need and developing executive summary for review by leadership.
  • Reviews and tracks all approved CWF grant applications, ensuring compliance with the grant guidelines.
  • Liaise with departments and their chairman for children & youth and education and scholarships, including Legion Family members.
  • Serves as staff liaison to the Citizenship and Naturalization Subcommittee, or other subcommittees as may be assigned by the director, with the following duties:

a. Developing meeting agenda.

b. Conducting room set-up to include audio/video, U.S. and POW/MIA flags

c. Taking meeting minutes and assisting the chairman in with written and oral reports to

the Americanism Commission.

d. Performing other tasks as required by the chairman or members of the subcommittee

  • Coordinate requests for Scouting certificates and Square Knot scouting awards at the direction of the program manager-Youth Education.

Education/Technical Knowledge:

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Minimum eight (8) years experience providing consulting or technical assistance to nonprofits, foundations, or public agencies/governments, or leading change management or strategy functions inside such organizations.
  • MBA, MPP, MPA or other relevant post-graduate degree is preferred. Relevant experience and proven success will be considered in lieu of formal education.  
  • Deep understanding of nonprofit organizations and the nonprofit sector, including demonstrated expertise in at least one (1) of the following functional skills: strategic planning, governance, data analysis, finance, fundraising, operations, program design and delivery. 
  • Strong coaching and convening skills.  
  • Comfortable and confident in presenting to groups, and able to make complex topics feel accessible.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and implementing strategies/solutions that drove impact and organizational transformation or sustainability. 
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage budgets, timelines and deliverables.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly communicate sensitive information and present complex topics for a variety of audiences.

Position Description


Provide support and assistance to the Division, Program Manager, team members, and clients to accomplish program goals and objectives. Primary job duties require exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance to the business

Essential Functions:


Responsible for the data entry and maintenance of accurate records for each consortium membership and member.


As directed, responsible for the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records for the consortium.


Assists Program Managers with planning and execution of customer programs.


Handles frequent contact within and outside the company on significant matters requiring tact, persuasion and negotiation skills.


Manage calendar for manager and maintains team and company calendars; identifies and resolves potential scheduling conflicts.


Arranges meetings, conferences, video conferences, and telephone conferences, including equipment prep and testing, attendance tracking, room setup and catering, preparation of agendas and presentation materials.


Coordinates meeting registrations, memberships, supplies, materials, equipment and services for business unit and program requirements.


Assists in the development of, and provides support for, meetings, workshops, conferences, video conferences, and telephone conferences, including equipment prep and testing, attendance tracking, room setup and catering, preparation of agendas and presentation materials.


Assist with coordinate’s program presence at tradeshows: prepares and produces informational materials: contract for booth space and services; staff booth or assist with coordination of team member staffing; prepares and distributes various brochures, posters, press releases and other informational material.


Maintains electronic and paper files for programs in the business unit, including draft and version control, archiving and back-ups.


Provides general administrative support to business unit team members.



Additional Responsibilities:


Assists with tracking specific budget items as assigned.


Performs other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree, or an Associate's Degree and two years related experience, or High School and six years of related experience.


Computer skills including intermediate Excel skills, MS Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project desired. MS Access experience a plus.


Ability to travel to conferences and meetings required. Weekend travel is very infrequent, but a remote possibility to support the client’s needs for an early Monday or late Friday event maybe needed.


This position will need the ability to access US only data systems – US Citizenship is required and/or must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance (for certain projects/programs).

Mikros Technologies liquid cooling systems are deployed servers in large AI data centers and help to increase the energy efficiency of these sites. What will you do?

- Ability to provide design and engineering drawing services as required to support our manufacturing processes and integration of our products into the end user’s equipment.
- Design and analysis of cooling systems such as cold plates, manifolds, and fluidic couplings.
