Job Description

Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty interested in teaching with our BSN Nursing program.

You will be mentoring students in person at an inpatient clinical setting located in the Anchorage, Alaska area. You'll be making connections between what our students are learning in the classroom and during simulations, with the real-world applications in patient care they are experiencing on-site. By bridging this gap, we can ensure that our students are not only well-prepared for their roles as healthcare professionals but also confident in their abilities to provide high-quality care to their patients.

No teaching experience is required, nurses with solid clinical experience and a completed MSN are encouraged to apply!

Scheduling:

• Schedule is determined based on the course need and the clinical specialty for each 8-week session
• Typically, clinical instructors are scheduled for 3-4 consecutive 12-hour shifts, which occur over a period of 1-2 weeks each session
• Please note that additional dates may not be available, and clinical dates are not guaranteed for every session

Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Curriculum Implementation
  • Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service.
  • Assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching loads.
  • Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
• Student Evaluation and Support
  • Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student's knowledge base, skill competency and individual learning needs.
  • Evaluate and provide documented feedback on performance to students based on course objectives.
  • Be available for remediation of students as required or needed.
  • Correct and return homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork, and other written work in a timely manner.
• Clinical Coordination
  • Orient and maintain current knowledge related to clinical site policies, procedures, and expectations with the assistance of the clinical site personnel.
  • Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with students' knowledge base, skill competency, and individual learning needs.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
• An unencumbered professional RN nursing license in Alaska
• Illinois RN License will be required to teach all courses (course assignments prioritized to professors who are currently licensed in Illinois)
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
• At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment.

Job Title: PT Merchandising Coordinator

Reports to: Sr. Director of Merchandising

Job Type: Part-Time (24 hours/week), On-Site

Compensation: $29-$33/Hour 

About the Role: The Merchandising Coordinator provides critical operational support to the Merchandising team. This entry-level role is designed to build a foundation in merchandising through exposure to product lifecycle processes, assortment planning, and cross-functional collaboration. The Merchandising Coordinator helps keep systems and samples organized, maintains product data, and supports the team in executing seasonal strategies. 

This role is designed with the potential to transition into a full-time opportunity based on performance and business needs. Ideal for an early-career professional seeking hands-on merchandising experience within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Schedule: This role is scheduled for 24 hours per week, working onsite Tuesday through Thursday during standard business hours with the opportunity for occasional additional hours during peak seasonal periods or key business initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

• Assortment Support: Assist the Merchandising Team with sample management, product data entry, and seasonal assortment organization.
• Systems & Tools: Maintain accuracy of merchandising systems (NetSuite, Google Drive, OneDrive) through data entry, audits, and reporting.
• Business Reporting: Pull and prepare basic sales and category performance reports; support the team with compiling data for presentations and analysis.
• Pricing & Product Setup: Enter SKU data, initial pricing, and product details into systems under Merchants' guidance.
• Market & Competitive Research: Conduct entry-level research projects, including gathering competitive pricing data, tracking trends, and organizing findings for the team.
• Cross-Functional Support: Partner with Planning, Production & Sourcing, Creative, and Ecomm teams to share updates and track deadlines.
• Executional Tasks: Help prepare decks and materials for line reviews, seasonal meetings, and executive updates as requested. 
• Team Support: Provide day-to-day support to the Merchandising Team to ensure smooth execution of projects and deliverables.

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, planning, or related field (internships or retail experience a plus).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Basic Excel/Google Sheets skills (formulas, charts; willingness to learn pivot tables and vlookups).
• Interest in product, design, and customer trends, with eagerness to learn merchandising fundamentals.
• Transparent and proactive communication skills; comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
