The Staff or Senior Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner and a member of the care delivery team. The APP is responsible to set the standards for the level and quality of care. The APP has responsibility, authority, and accountability for the provision of care through supervision by and collaboration with a physician. The APP manages and provides patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through the application of independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- Able to work independently in an OR if required
- Experience with adult and pediatric patients (minor pediatric cases 10%)
- Paper charting experience
- Must be adaptable to fast-paced, multi-case OR environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- License: Active Pennsylvania medical license required (IMLC accepted)
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year post-training in anesthesiology
- Other Qualifications: Collaborative with CRNAs and OR staff, flexible to cover multiple ORs, multitasking in high-volume surgery center
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide anesthesia coverage in a multispecialty surgery center
- Supervise CRNAs in up to 4 ORs or cover an OR independently
- Manage rapid turnover of multiple cases, including longer procedures (ENT, Plastic)
- Ensure patient safety and high-quality perioperative care for adult and pediatric patients
- Collaborate with experienced surgical and support staff for optimal patient experience
