As a Physician in Pulmonary Critical Care medicine you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You will be an integral member of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team caring for complex, critically ill patients in a 32-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
In this role you can anticipate:
Practicing at St. George Regional Hospital located in St. George, Utah.
A mix of pulmonary clinic, pulmonary consults, and ICU shifts; 1,825 hours annually (1.0 FTE)
32-bed adult mixed medical/surgical ICU, caring for general surgery, trauma (Level II ASC Trauma Hospital Accreditation), cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, and medical patients

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks a Complex Family Planning Section Chief. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the CFP program and expand the Department’s clinical and research expertise. Ideal candidates are board-certified or eligible physicians with fellowship training in complex family planning or equivalent experience who are interested in a leadership position within an academic Department.
Family Planning faculty currently supervises a resident family planning rotation that includes an early pregnancy management clinic, a dedicated contraception clinic, and operative experience at an ambulatory surgical facility. They also participate in a well-established faculty practice, attend the gynecology teaching service, and have an active role in medical student education. Research opportunities include collaboration with the College of Public Health and the Department’s own reproductive epidemiologist.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an outstanding obstetrician-gynecologist for a full-time position within the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This is an exciting opportunity to expand the Department’s services. Ideal candidates are board-certified or eligible physicians interested in resident education and direct patient care at an academic center. Members of the division supervise resident continuity clinics and gynecologic teaching services and provide in-hospital gynecologic consultation. Additionally, they have an active role in medical student education. The division has an active faculty practice at five outpatient sites and one labor and delivery facility. Providers include 26 obstetrician-gynecologists, four gynecologists, and 16 nurse-midwives. Faculty expertise includes minimally invasive surgery, family planning, vulvar disease, menopause, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and breastfeeding.
The Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University is a state-of-the-art tertiary care center with a planned new hospital opening in 2026. The Ohio State University College of Medicine graduates approximately 200 medical students per year. The obstetrics and gynecology residency program is integrated with the Mount Carmel Medical System and trains 11 residents per year. Purpose: The CRNA provides anesthetic care for all patients in cooperation with the supervising physician, following Department of Anesthesiology standards and hospital policies. They administer anesthesia, monitor patients' reactions to sedatives and anesthetic agents, and inform the anesthesiologist of any adverse conditions that may threaten patient safety.

Responsibilities:

- Administer anesthesia and related care, including pre-anesthetic preparation, induction, maintenance, emergence, post-anesthesia care, and peri-anesthesia support.
/n
- Assumes responsibility and is accountable for controlled substances according to department and hospital policy and State and federal guidelines
/n
- Assists with the teaching and evaluation of newly hired CRNAs, GRNAs, and SRNAs.
/n
- Performs according to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Review appropriate documentation for informed consent and identify appropriate surgical site with operating room staff and surgeon in accordance with departmental and regulatory compliance standards
/n
- Participate in the Quality Improvement (QI) process through documentation, incident reporting, evaluation, education, and implementation.

- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program required.
/n
- Knowledgeable regarding controlled substance policies in accordance with Federal and State laws required.
/n
- Master's degree preferred.
/n

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
/n
/n
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.
/n
- Board Certified, Recertified or eligible by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists required.
/n
- CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
/n
- AHA-approved ACLS/PALS certifications as required by institution of employ upon hire.
/n
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
/n
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
/n
- Registered Nurse (RN)
/n
- Act 33 with renewal
/n
- Act 34 with renewal
/n
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
