Job Description

As a Project Engineer for Doka USA, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of construction projects. You will collaborate with our clients, project managers, and construction teams to ensure the successful implementation of formwork and shoring solutions that meet project requirements and exceed client expectations. This role will be based out of our Northeast branch located in Kenilworth, NJ, and will report to our Engineering Manager. This will be an on-site position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Develop detailed plans and designs for formwork and shoring systems based on project specifications and structural requirements and utilize industry-standard software and tools (i.e., AutoCAD, Revit, ect.). to create accurate drawings, models, and calculations.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and clients regarding formwork and shoring solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to address technical challenges and optimize project performance.
  • Identify and select appropriate formwork and shoring materials based on project requirements, budget constraints, and site conditions.
  • Ensure that formwork and shoring systems comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in formwork and shoring design, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD), structural analysis tools, and project management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Details:

  • Provide specialized outpatient care for patients with sleep-related chronic health conditions in accordance with established scope and standards of practice.
  • Conduct follow-up visits including CPAP management, medication management, review of sleep study results, and evaluation of sleep therapy options.
  • Collaborate with the care team to support optimal patient outcomes in sleep health.
  • Preferred experience as an advanced practice provider in Sleep Medicine, Respiratory care, Cardiology, Pulmonology, or Internal Medicine.
  • Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week.
  • Epic EMR utilized system-wide.

About the position:

We have Special Education Teacher positions open in both our Kiefer School and Academy for Autism.

Kiefer School provides special education for children who experience difficulty in their home school due to severe emotional, behavioral and/or learning challenges. The goal is to improve a child’s ability to function within the public school setting by providing intensive intervention in small classrooms and a range of treatment and support services to the student and their family. Kiefer is an AdvancEd accredited, ISBE-approved private school.

Our Academy for Autism serves students ages 5-22 with an educational or medical diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Through intervention with ISBE licensed educators and teacher assistants in each classroom and small class sizes, our students are able to find their pathway to success using innovative tools and techniques geared towards those with Autism.

A Special Education Teacher provides academic and behavioral instruction to students on a daily basis in a classroom of up to 10 students. They play a critical role in that they carry out the IEP requirements for each student in their daily programming. They are the main change agent for students’ academic and behavioral growth and serve as a role model. A Special Education Teacher must not only provide for the academic needs of students, but also for the social skill and behavioral needs as well.

Our schools operate on a traditional calendar from August through May. Both schools operate a 30 instructional day summer program.

Job Function:
Evaluates and improves each child’s academic and behavioral functioning, establishes and carries out the IEP by implementing daily programming, involves parents as active treatment participants, and maintains professional boundaries and demeanor.

Qualifications:

Minimum BA/BS in education with LBS I/II certification or approval by the Illinois State Board Education.
Two years' experience preferred.
Experience with children exposed to trauma.
Ability to relate effectively to children and their parents.
Maturity and sensitivity to cultural and individual differences in students, staff and families served.
Effective written and oral communications.
Ability to work independently and within a treatment team.
Ability to handle job related matters in a professional, diplomatic and confidential manner.
Ability to use computer technology.
Hearing and speaking ability which allow for effective oral communication of information.
Ability to transport self and students to various locations.
Physical and emotional stamina to effectively handle job related problems and stress.
Knowledge of childhood trauma.

MV Transportation is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager who will be a dynamic, multi-task oriented senior professional to manage all day-to-day maintenance aspects of this fixed route bus operation. The Fleet Maintenance Manager will ensure that all contractual requirements are achieved, and duties included will consist of daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports. The Fleet Maintenance Manager must be able to properly manage a budget for maintenance program. 

Qualifications:

Talent Requirements:

  • Must have at least three (3) or more years of recent (within the last five (5) years) and relevant experience managing the maintenance functions of a transit bus maintenance shop similar in scope, size, and complexity and with same or similar type of transit vehicles/equipment. 
  • Must have experience managing/ directing 10 plus employees (fleet Technicians/Service Workers/Cleaners). 
  • Experience working with 50 + buses within the last year. 
  • Previous passenger transportation in current project or similar environment preferred. 
  • Must be able to manage and interface with client. 
  • Must have the ability to track and control parts inventories, vendors and suppliers. 
  • Must be able to properly prioritize, implement and manage work schedules, projects and assignments. 
  • Must be able to manage the financial/accounting aspects of a fleet maintenance operation.
