Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas has an opening for a nuclear medicine physician/nuclear radiologist to join the faculty as part of an expanding section of Nuclear Medicine. We seek an individual with strong clinical performance, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for the field of molecular imaging and therapy. Clinical duties include a full-time commitment providing a broad scope of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine in both public and private healthcare environments. Minimum Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited Nuclear Medicine residency or the equivalent in Diagnostic Radiology, with additional fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine or Nuclear Radiology. The ideal candidate will have considerable expertise in all aspects of clinical Nuclear Medicine, including general nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology, therapy and hybrid molecular imaging. It is expected that the successful candidate will integrate into a collegial and collaborative environment and promote programmatic growth, excellent patient care, and interdisciplinary research. The active participation in and promotion of the educational mission and training of residents and fellows at Baylor College of Medicine is a requirement. Formal ACGME experience as a faculty member is desirable but not required. UT Health East Texas (UTHET) is seeking a dynamic leader to serve in the role of Chief Quality Officer based in Tyler, TX.

Under the direction and leadership of the UTHET Chief Medical Officer (CMO) the Chief Quality Officer (CQO) will drive clinical excellence in the areas of quality, patient safety, and process improvement initiatives related to optimal quality performance. The scope of this role will include responsibilities across the UTHET Market and the UT Tyler School of Medicine (SOM)-while reporting directly to the CMO.

Major Responsibilities/Duties/Critical Tasks:

? Work with the CMO to direct and implement evidence-based programs, practices and activities that realize continuous improvements in clinical quality and patient safety.

? Work with the SOM Leadership and UTHET Leadership to promote engagement of faculty, fellows, residents, and students with quality improvement priorities.

? Collaborate with the UTHET Market Quality Director to ensure that annual facility level quality goals include focus on system-wide critical indicators.

? Work closely with the CMO and service line chairs to establish annual quality metrics that align with facility-level quality goals, with an emphasis on optimizing patient experience and clinical outcomes.

? Develop strategies to promote population health through creative ambulatory quality improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with the President of the University Practice Plan and Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs to assist with the engagement of academic faculty and associated training programs with quality initiatives, oversight, continuous monitoring, and programmatic feedback and development. Requirements :

• MD or DO candidates. 
• Internal medicine residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program.
• Gastroenterology fellowship completion required from an accredited program.
• Advanced/ERCP Gastroenterologist (which will require completion of advanced training in ERCP). 
• Board certified or board eligible candidates required.
• Active Texas license or willingness to obtain.
• Seeking experienced candidates who are ready to practice as soon as May 2026.

Position Details:

• Full-time, employed positions with Texas Health Digestive Specialists in Denton, part of Texas Health Physicians Group.
• Seeking experienced advanced gastroenterologists specializing in ERCP for a newly formed office with anticipation of quick and intense growth.
• Practice on the campus of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton .
• Clinic schedule is Monday – Friday, 8AM to 5PM. Hospital call schedule is anticipated to be 2 or more weeks per month.
• Competitive compensation and benefits will be offered.
