Our audiologists work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment, providing a broad spectrum of services across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Core responsibilities for this role include:
- Comprehensive diagnostic audiologic evaluations for infants and children
- Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response (BAER) testing under natural sleep and general anesthesia
- Collaboration with ENT physicians and other specialists in patient care planning
- Hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and follow-up
- Cochlear implant evaluations, activations, and follow-up
- Participation in intraoperative facial nerve monitoring and VNG testing, as needed
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D. or Ph.D.) from an accredited program
- California Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing Licenses (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong pediatric diagnostic experience preferred
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required

Position Highlights:
- Position: Nurse Specialist
- Location: Evanston Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM
What you will need:
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of Illinois required
- Education: BSN required
- Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
- Experience: 3 years of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required
What you will do:
- Function as a subject expert and/or program coordinator in providing nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and/or adults
- Provide nursing assessment to patient condition and evaluation of follow-up needs
- Coordination of patient plan of care
- Provide health education for patient and family
- Collaborate on planning/problem-solving solutions with health team members
- Clinical management of patients as directed by the physician

Requirements
Valid Pennsylvania LPN License or Multistate License
TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
Valid BLS CPR card (obtained in person not online)
Valid driver's license
