A nationally recognized, full-service law firm is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate Attorney with 6–8 years of experience to join its Intellectual Property and Technology group in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value patent disputes involving cutting-edge technologies and innovative industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of patent litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation

• Draft briefs, pleadings, and complex legal documents

• Conduct depositions and participate in trial proceedings

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop litigation strategies

• Handle matters involving electrical engineering, software, and pharmaceutical technologies

• Provide strategic legal guidance on intellectual property disputes

• Work closely with experts and technical consultants

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience as a Patent Litigation Associate Attorney

• Admission to the New York Bar (NY Bar required)

• Background in Electrical Engineering, Software, and/or Pharmaceutical sciences

• Experience at a national or top-tier law firm preferred

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Ability to manage complex litigation independently

• Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset
