UMass Memorial Medical Center, the clinical partner of the UMass Chan Medical School, seeks a dynamic, collaborative, and visionary academic leader to serve as the Chief of the Division of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics & Gynecology (ASGOG) . The Division Chief will report directly to Tiffany A. Moore Simas, MD, MPH, MEd, MHCM, Chair of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Candidates must be board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology, actively practicing and providing clinical care in obstetrics and gynecology, and demonstrate excellence in clinical practice, leadership, mentorship, education, quality improvement, scholarship, and administrative achievement. The Chief will lead one of the largest and most diverse divisions within the Department, overseeing academic specialist faculty, while ensuring high-quality clinical care, advancing educational programs, promoting scholarship, and fostering a culture of equity, inclusion, and professional excellence.

Division Highlights

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Administration

  • Serve as the academic and clinical leader of the ASGOG Division, responsible for strategic direction, operational oversight, and faculty development.
  • Provide visionary leadership with strong clinical, business, and marketing acumen, bringing an understanding of strategic growth, workforce development, and service-line expansion.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, retention, and performance evaluation of physician and advanced practice clinician faculty.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, professionalism, accountability, collaboration, and psychological safety across all clinical sites.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the Department’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Actively monitor, evaluate, translate, adopt and evolve national trends, regulatory changes, and best practices ensuring the division is innovative and competitive by maintaining or implementing where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with Chair Dr. Tiffany Moore Simas, Vice Chair of Clinical Services Dr. Erica Smith, and VP/Chief Administrative Officer Alyscia Grant to ensure the financial stability of the division including through appropriate resource allocation and fiscal stewardship.

Clinical Oversight

  • Oversee and support high-quality clinical care across ambulatory practices, inpatient units, operating rooms, and community locations.
  • Partner with obstetric, gynecologic, surgical, family planning, and inpatient obstetric leaders to optimize patient flow, access, and clinical performance.
  • Support development and expansion of clinical operations and outreach programs, in line with departmental goals.
  • Where relevant, oversee or collaborate with specialty sections such as Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology, Complex Family Planning, and Complex Benign Gynecology/Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, and other subspecialty divisions including Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and Urogynecology.

Education & Mentorship

  • Support and guide faculty who serve in educational leadership roles, including residency and clerkship directors, continuity clinic directors, and core teaching faculty.
  • Promote an exceptional teaching environment for medical students, residents, and fellows—modeling best practices in learner supervision, bedside teaching, and skill development.
  • Foster and evaluate faculty development in academic promotion, teaching excellence, leadership, and professional growth, in partnership with the Vice Chair of Academic Affairs Dr. Kristen Matteson.

Quality, Safety, and Equity

Summary:

The Respiratory Sales Specialist implements all Respiratory/Ventilation sales activities and is responsible for achieving revenue objectives. The Respiratory Sales Specialist assists in the development and expansion of new and existing businesses through in-services, training programs, and their respiratory clinical expertise. They focus on generating and securing referrals and the successful transition of set-up on clinical respiratory equipment. They provide ongoing education to referral sources, as well as all aspects of the clinical respiratory program and complete appropriate paperwork in a timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services and education to patients to improve quality of life, respiratory conditions, and prevent hospital re-admissions.
  • Assess new and current accounts to determine referral numbers and the projected usage of services.
  • Responsible for product and clinical application presentations to customers and physicians to increase customer's knowledge base on all respiratory/ventilation product lines and the latest information available on pulmonary disease management.
  • A strong well-rounded Respiratory Therapist who has therapy solutions for all patients transiting home with respiratory conditions and can provide support, education, and interventions to keep them there.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree (A.S.) or higher in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in Respiratory Therapy encompassing homecare and hospital experience, with sleep laboratory experience a plus.
  • ICU experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Certified Respiratory Technician (CRT), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT). (Some States- RN)
  • Current state license or appropriate registration required.
  • May be required to obtain additional state licensures in order to expand geographical coverage area of Protech Home Medical.

As a Retail Inventory Specialist, you will perform detailed receiving, auditing, replenishing and destruction procedures as outlined by company policy and state regulation. In addition, the Inventory Specialist will maintain the physical organization of all product in a manner that will provide optimal efficiency and accountability within the dispensary.


Responsibilities include:



  • Accurately and efficiently receive all inbound product shipments.
  • Enter all incoming product into Compliance and ERP Systems.
  • Physically move product to locations throughout the facility, including the vault, back room, and sales floor.
  • Maintain optimal organization and cleanliness of all inventory processing and storage areas.
  • Perform and reconcile inventory cycle counts.
  • Perform and reconcile various inventory and compliance related audits.
  • Ensure sales floor is consistently replenished and properly stocked.
  • Fulfills online pick-up and delivery orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare for and participate in all periodic physical inventory audits, as scheduled by the company.
  • Provide efficient written and verbal communication of inventory issues to management and the store team in a timely manner.
  • Utilize several software packages.
  • Consistently remains compliant with all legal and/or company regulations for the industry.

Salary

$25 USD per hour

A rapidly growing industrial equipment manufacturer with operations in North Georgia is expanding its internal machining capabilities and hiring a skilled Precision Machining Specialist to join their high-performing, hands-on engineering and production team. This role supports custom machinery builds and prototype development for customers in aerospace, energy, automotive, and advanced manufacturing markets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and configure CNC and conventional machining tools to produce high-precision parts for specialized machinery assemblies.
  • Program, edit, and optimize CNC toolpaths using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam).
  • Interpret engineering drawings, applying GD&T standards to ensure tight-tolerance specifications are met.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to fabricate components for new designs, R&D projects, and machine prototypes.
  • Select appropriate tooling, complete machine changeovers, and fine-tune machining parameters to support efficient production and maintain quality standards.
  • Help organize and optimize internal machining workflows as the shop scales.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure machined parts meet all dimensional and quality standards.
  • Conduct routine care and upkeep of machinery and tooling to promote a safe and productive workshop environment.
  • Contribute to production schedules by aligning machining work with engineering and build timelines.
  • Recognize opportunities to enhance machining methods, tooling strategies, and overall production efficiency.

  • Mazak Quick Turn 8 CNC Lathe
  • Seiki-XL 24” x 120” Manual Lathe
  • Hydro-Mech Horizontal Band Saw


Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with both CNC machining and manual machining equipment.
  • Proven experience programming CNC equipment using CAM platforms such as Mastercam.
  • Proficiency with GD&T and interpreting technical engineering drawings.
  • Background in machining high-precision components for industrial or custom equipment applications.
  • Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and self-directed problem-solving ability.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in custom machine building, prototype development, or engineer-to-order environments.
  • Exposure to SolidWorks or similar CAD platforms.
  • Familiarity with job shop or high-mix, low-volume manufacturing workflows.
  • Prior involvement in setting up or scaling a machining operation.
