Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee daily construction operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills to manage subcontractors, maintain quality standards, and support the project team throughout the construction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to execute project plans effectively.
- Ensure all required permits and licenses are obtained prior to project start.
- Coordinate jobsite activities, schedules, and subcontractors.
- Direct and supervise trade workers to maintain productivity and quality.
- Promote and enforce a safe working environment through safety training and onsite Toolbox Talks.
- Develop, implement, and manage the project safety plan.
- Lead weekly subcontractor meetings to support planning, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
- Plan, manage, and supervise construction activities to achieve timely project completion and final acceptance within budget.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of construction industry experience, with proven jobsite leadership.
- High school diploma required; trade school, apprenticeship, or college coursework preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Professional, team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Working knowledge of Procore preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
- OSHA 30 Certification (or ability to obtain within one year).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%, including overnight stays as needed.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position requires regular work on active construction sites, including exposure to dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions, and varying temperatures. Physical activity may include climbing ladders or scaffolding, walking long distances, navigating stairs, and working in moderate noise environments.
