Summary

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Performs electrocardiography procedures, exercise stress testing, nuclear stress testing, ambulatory monitoring, cardiac and vascular ultrasound/imaging and other specialties of ultrasound for diagnostic purposes at Bryan Medical Center.

PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

4. *Provides the reading physician with adequate diagnostic information necessary to generate final report; notifies physician if results require immediate attention.

5. *Performs routine equipment maintenance and departmental maintenance including cleaning, disinfection and use of appropriate solutions.

6. *Transports patient and/or equipment, alone or with assistance, in bed, wheeled cart or wheel chair to designated area.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must obtain Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) within two (2) years of hire through the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or provide demonstrated progress toward achieving registry AND must obtain Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) within (1) year of hire through the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or provide demonstrated progress toward achieving registry.

11. *Assists the nurse in perioperative care of the patient including transporting and positioning

13. *Delivers medications (drugs or biologicals) received in the surgical suite to the appropriate operating room via case cart or medication cart.
    
14. *Handles and prepares medication for use on the sterile field in the operating room under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and physician.
    
15. Participates in continuous quality improvement measures to achieve positive patient outcomes.
    
16. Provides patient care in accordance with patients rights.
    
17. Participates and practices safety through active prevention and precautions.
    
18. Ensures personal/visitor safety through measures of prevention and universal precautions.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.This role is a U.S.-based role.
