Position Overview

The Healthcare Claims EDI Manager will oversee multiple EDI-related projects simultaneously and a team of three, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with business objectives. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a proven track record of driving projects to successful completion. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate with stakeholders, and help HPC continue to innovate in the healthcare space.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage several EDI projects concurrently from initiation to completion
  • Coordinate the HPC EDI team (currently three members)
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables for each initiative
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Communicate status updates and project outcomes to leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Support a collaborative, high-energy office culture and participate in company events


Required Qualifications

  • Certified Health Claims EDI Specialist designation
  • 5+ years experience in healthcare EDI with a technical understanding of healthcare EDI operations: receiving and transmitting 837 files; monitoring all EDI inventory and ensuring timely processing and return of claims
  • Quality assurance experience trouble shooting claims flow issues
  • Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to manage people towards a common goal
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with project management tools (and MS Office Suite - especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, in-office environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Project Management experience (PMP certification and experience with are both bonuses)
  • Experience with healthcare EDI x12 transactions and healthcare claims
  • Medical coding certification (CPC, CCS, etc.)
  • Experience reviewing provider claims for technical errors
  • Familiarity with claims editing software/rules (unbundling, DRG, appeals)
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and data security requirements
  • Experience with a cost containment company
  • Extra Bonus if you have a music background, play an instrument or just LOVE live music


Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm

Department Information

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. Job Summary

The Signal Lab in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech is seeking a Research Scientist to lead and advance cutting-edge research in the field of telecom. The role will involve research in 6G and wireless systems but also include lab management, business development, project management, cross- institute collaborations and demonstrations just to name a few.



Responsibilities

Some responsibilities include:

. Research Leadership in 6G, Wireless Systems, and Emerging Technologies

  • Lead and execute advanced research programs spanning 5G Advanced, 6G architectures, ISAC, semantic communications, agentic networking, RF sensing, and wireless intelligence.
  • Design and evaluate novel algorithms, PHY/MAC prototypes, and end-to-end wireless stacks using SDRs, GPU-accelerated systems, and cloud-integrated infrastructure.
  • Publish high-impact papers, technical reports, and standards-relevant contributions.

2. Lab Management and Testbed Operations

  • Oversee daily operations of the Center for Wireless Intelligence research lab, including equipment procurement, spectrum tools, RF instrumentation, compute clusters, and software environments.
  • Manage, maintain, and expand the outdoor wireless testbed (campus-scale or city-scale): radios, remote nodes, edge compute, backhaul, deployment logistics, calibration, and field testing.
  • Ensure safety, compliance, documentation, inventory management, and continuous uptime of lab and testbed assets.
  • Build automated pipelines for experiments, data collection, benchmarking, and reproducibility.

3. Affiliate Engagement, Business Development, and Partnerships

  • Engage, onboard, and close new affiliate companies into the CWI affiliate program.
  • Serve as technical liaison for affiliate members across telecom, semiconductor, cloud, defense, and AI domains.
  • Define joint research thrusts, scoping documents, deliverables, and IP paths with partner organizations.
  • Coordinate demos, campus visits, on-site reviews, and technical deep-dives for affiliates.

4. Project Management and PhD Mentorship

  • Mentor PhD students, postdocs, and research engineers working on 6G, wireless intelligence, agentic systems, and related topics.
  • Manage multi-PI, multi-institution, and affiliate-funded projects, ensuring timely execution, deliverables, reporting, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Provide technical direction, experiment planning, scheduling, milestones, and results dissemination.

5. Proposal Development and Funding Acquisition

  • Lead and contribute to major proposals for federal, state, and institute-level funding, including NSF, DARPA, IARPA, NIST, NIH, DoD, DOE, and industry research labs.
  • Manage full proposal lifecycle: concept development, whitepapers, teaming, budget coordination, compliance, and final submission.
  • Close new funding sources for the center through proactive outreach, consortium building, and strategic alignment with national priorities (6G, AI/ML for wireless, digital twins, robotics, cybersecurity, etc.).

6. Event and Program Management

  • Plan and execute workshops, symposiums, demo days, affiliate reviews, student recruiting events, and cross-center technical showcases.
  • Coordinate logistics, speaker engagement, program design, marketing materials, and event follow-ups.
  • Support the institute in flagship campus events around wireless, AI, cybersecurity, and next-generation connectivity.

7. Cross-Institute Collaboration and Ecosystem Building

  • Facilitate collaborations with GT centers, MITRE Labs, government agencies, industry partners, and academic institutions.
  • Represent the center in institute-level initiatives, standards bodies, federal roadmaps, and 6G consortium efforts.
  • Identify and develop synergy projects across AI, robotics, cybersecurity, energy systems, and digital twins where wireless is foundational.

8. Demonstrations, Prototypes, and Technology Transfer

  • Build and showcase cutting-edge wireless demonstrations involving the outdoor testbed, SDRs, AI-native RAN components, ISAC sensors, and agentic network stacks.
  • Support technology transition to sponsors, affiliates, and government partners through prototypes, datasets, documentation, and workshops.


Required Qualifications

Research Scientist/Engineer I

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related area.

Research Scientist/Engineer II

  • A Master's degree and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree,
  • A Master's degree and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree, or
  • A Doctoral degree.

Senior Research Scientist/Engineer

  • A Master's degree and seven (7) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree,
  • A Master's degree and nine (9) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree, or
  • A Doctoral degree and four (4) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree.


Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields with emphasis on wireless communications, signal processing, or 6G systems.
  • Strong research record in wireless systems, PHY/MAC design, SDR prototyping, RF measurements, or AI for wireless.
  • Hands-on experience with real-world wireless experimentation (SDRs, channel sounders, testbeds, OTA systems).
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring students or leading technical teams.
  • Capability in writing and contributing to competitive research proposals.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing labs, field deployments, RF equipment, and outdoor testbeds.

Job Summary: The Epic Director is responsible for providing executive, strategic, and operational leadership for the implementation of enterprise Epic systems. Reporting to the Vice President of the Epic Program, DirectorEpic is the project leader overseeing implementation and operational activities for the Epic system. The individual will be part of a consortium team with colleagues at affiliated institutions, consisting of project managers, analysts, and developers with acute care clinical system domain expertise. This position works closely with clinical and business leadership and leads a multidisciplinary team inthe design, implementation, workflow optimization, change management, and issue resolution related to inpatient clinical applications. This position requires broad knowledge of clinical systems such as the Epic platform, along with inpatient clinical workflow and business processes. As a Director for the enterprise Epic initiative, this individual will collaborate with peer domain-specific directors forenterprise Epic, as well as appropriate technical and operational leaders from affiliated institutions.



Responsibilities:




  • Plan, execute, and support complex inpatient EHR modules. Modules will support clinical documentation, computerized clinician order entry, electronic results review, clinical decision support, secure messaging, and charge capture. The scope of work includes establishing business objectives, defining workflow, and standardizing clinical content.
  • Manage and supervise full-cycle implementation activities and daily operations of a group composed of highly skilled project managers and technical and analytic employees with domain expertise in inpatient clinical systems.



  • Oversee clinical content and system build that leverages Epics best practices, while supporting key workflows and business processes within the Consortium.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Directors of ambulatory and inpatient systems for enterprise Epic to insure consistent clinical build and efficient workflow processes throughout the continuum of care.



  • Oversee build, deployment, and support of enterprise ambulatory registration and scheduling modules and inpatient bed management/ADT functionality.
  • Oversee build, deployment, and support of professional fee and hospital billing modules
  • Collaborate effectively with respective Directors to ensure that clinical modules are optimally integrated with revenue cycle modules to maximize productivity and revenue opportunities.
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain coordination and communication with system users, department administration, vendors, and senior college and hospital management to assure organizational success. If necessary, train or supervise training of users and other staff in current and new aspects of system functionality.
  • Manages project plans, operating budgets, reports, spreadsheets, and other presentations necessary for the proactive communication and management regarding your projects to other administrators, users, and relevant affiliates.
  • Work collaboratively with clinician leaders, business offices, and information technology offices of all consortium members to coordinate operational planning and support for core information services and technical infrastructure. Keep informed of system developments with the institution and affiliates as well as within the industry and related vendor realm
  • Negotiate and resolve project issues and escalations, including scope creep, and other risks associated with executing on the project plans. Ensure adherence to the project budget and identify and communicate any factors that may cause a budget variance.
  • Prepares annual operating and capital expense budgets for project deliverables. Manages project budgets and approves expenditures.
  • Provides and maintains effective communication with hospital management to define the priorities of projects, including equipment acquisitions, requirements of management and staff, and allocation of departmental resources. Presents reports to keep hospital administration informed of project development and any deviation from projected goals.
  • As a key stakeholder in the effective execution of the project charter, he makes recommendations to ensure that the IT strategic plan is aligned with the organizations business objectives.
  • Manages vendor relationship management with appropriate counterparts at Epic to coordinate resource planning, project deliverables, and technical specifications.
  • Performs all duties inherent to a managerial role. Participates in hiring, training, evaluation and termination of assigned staff according to hospital policies and procedures.

Job Summary

The Ultrasound Imaging and Therapeutics Research Laboratory ( ) seeks self-motivated and talented individuals to participate in and support operations of a research laboratory. Our mission is to develop and translate approaches, devices, algorithms, and agents with clinical impact based on a synergistic combination of biomedical imaging, image-guided therapy, and bionanotechnology. Overall, we are a collaborative, full-spectrum research group leading the discovery, development, and integration of biomedical imaging technologies and theranostic agents for both fundamental research and clinical applications.

The Ultrasound Imaging and Therapeutics Research Laboratory is part of the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE), and the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University School of Medicine.

The research engineer will provide technical oversight of the research laboratory operations focused on in-vitro/preclinical/clinical imaging. The responsibilities will include daily interactions with graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, clinical collaborators, and other researchers, technical and other support to research staff, and direct reporting to the Principal Investigator.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Designing and fabricating electro-mechanical systems;
  • Facilitate construction and maintenance of custom lab equipment (ultrasound transducers and imaging systems, laser systems, motorized linear axis and robotic positioners, etc.);
  • Maintain instrumentation, implement best practices and training;
  • Serve as a technical source for the researchers in the laboratory;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related area.



Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. (M.S. preferred) in science or engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Biophysics, Chemistry, Biology);
  • Experience in mechanical fabrication and/or circuitry;
  • Experience with ultrasound or laser systems including NDE, diagnostic/therapeutic ultrasound, nanosecond pulsed lasers;
  • Programming skills in Matlab, LabVIEW, Python, C++ desirable;
  • Ability to assess and remedy difficult problems and situations quickly and efficiently;
  • Ability to work well alone as well as in a team environment;
  • Ability to work in physical, hands on environment;
  • Ability to act independently on technical matters pertaining to projects and laboratory;
  • Exhibits creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in conducting research programs/projects.

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of Heterogeneous Integration and Advanced Packaging (HI/AP). The School is interested in HI/AP topics including, but not limited to: bonding technologies for 3DHI, co-packaged photonics, 2.5D/3D HI technologies, advanced materials for HI/AP, system co-design and optimization, glass-core packaging technologies, and advanced assembly and interconnect technologies. Focus on system level demonstrations using HI/AP and circuit/system co-design are relevant.

The School seeks individuals with outstanding potential for research achievement, and a strong aptitude and interest in undergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as interest and experience in translating their research to commercial applications. Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. or equivalent. Public Services

The Public Services department provides 24/7 support to the Georgia Tech Library community. The team is responsible for staffing the INFO Desk, chat, phone, Gadgets office, and ticket support for anyone needing Library assistance. The team is the first line of support for Library inquiries and is deeply involved in the service provisions of the library. Public Services is also responsible for Gadgets, the Georgia Tech Library's equipment lending service.



Job Summary

Responsible for library customer support (in person and electronic) which includes: providing assistance with myriad library services, providing bibliographic instruction and referrals, assistance with accessing library content and shared resources, providing user account management, and assisting with various technologies. Provides access and reference services support to GT library patrons, including fulfillment, reference, and multimedia. This position will interact on a regular basis with: faculty, students, staff, unit management, external communities, all internal and external Georgia Tech Library patrons. This position typically will advise and counsel: faculty, students, unit staff; all internal and external Georgia Tech Library patrons. This position will supervise: N/A



Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 - Proactively engaging and assisting library users in obtaining requested materials. Answers Customer Support Tickets. Provides assistance in requesting materials from offsite storage facility and shared resource providers. Direct users to library spaces, expertise, and resources. Assist users with lending technology reservations and instruct on the use of various media and audiovisual equipment.
Job Duty 2 - Use a variety of library-specific software programs to fulfill requests and update user records, switching between multiple system interfaces as necessary; systems including but not limited to: Alma, Primo, Student Information System (Banner), customer issue tracking system (Jira), and various databases and library resources.
Job Duty 3 - Participate in a variety of library projects and initiatives. Engage in learning opportunities with other Library areas to gain a broader knowledge of the services the organization provides.
Job Duty 4 - Interprets and applies library policies and procedures regarding user accounts and the circulation and access of materials both owned and shared.
Job Duty 5 - Provides access to Reserves, Reference, and Gadgets collections.
Job Duty 6 - Maintains accurate user account records while applying patron confidentiality principles.

Job Summary

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for the position of Lecturer to teach undergraduate courses in the area of Electrical Engineering.

Specifically, we are seeking an individual who is invested in engineering education and who will deliver excellent teaching in the area of electrical power systems, power electronics, power conversion, and rotating machines. We are open to applicants in all areas of electrical engineering, but we are particularly interested in candidates with teaching and research experience in one or more of the following topics: power electronic devices, controls, and circuits; power system modeling, control, stability, protection, and transients, motor/generator modeling, design, and testing.

This is a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track academic position. Salary commensurate with qualifications. (Includes full benefits). Lecturer positions are part of a teaching faculty career track at Georgia Tech which provides opportunities for advancement to Senior and Principal Lecturer positions.

Job Summary

The Signal Lab in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech is seeking a Research Scientist to lead and advance cutting-edge research in Artificial Intelligence. The role will involve laboratory management, project oversight, and business development activities to name a few.



Responsibilities

1. Research Leadership in Foundation Models, World Models, and Frontier AI

  • Lead and execute advanced research programs in large-scale AI, including foundation model architectures, multimodal representation learning, world models, agentic systems, and self-supervised learning at scale.
  • Design and evaluate new training algorithms, model architectures, and scalable pipelines for language, vision, audio, robotics, simulation, and multi-agent environments.
  • Develop GPU-, TPU-, and cluster-optimized training frameworks, distributed training systems, and inference-time optimization pipelines for next-generation AI models.
  • Publish high-impact papers in top AI/ML venues, release open-source tools, and contribute to Georgia Tech's AI research leadership and national strategic priorities.

2. Lab Management and AI Compute Infrastructure Operations

  • Oversee daily operations of the AI research lab, including GPU clusters, high-performance storage, distributed training stacks, and data governance frameworks.
  • Manage, maintain, and expand high-performance compute infrastructure: multi-node GPU clusters, distributed data loaders, RL/simulation environments, and model evaluation frameworks.
  • Ensure safety, compliance, documentation, model governance, data integrity, and continuous uptime of compute and AI assets.
  • Build automated pipelines for model training, experiment reproducibility, dataset generation, benchmarking, and large-scale evaluation.

3. Affiliate Engagement, Business Development, and Partnerships

  • Engage, onboard, and support affiliate companies participating in the AI and foundation model research program.
  • Serve as a technical liaison for affiliates across AI labs, cloud providers, robotics companies, semiconductor partners, government agencies, and enterprise AI users.
  • Define joint research thrusts, scoping documents, datasets, deliverables, evaluation protocols, and IP structures for partner organizations.
  • Coordinate demos, campus visits, model showcases, and affiliate meetings to support collaboration and knowledge transfer.

4. Project Management and PhD Mentorship

  • Mentor PhD students, postdocs, and research engineers working on foundation models, world models, agentic systems, and large-scale representation learning.
  • Manage multi-PI, multi-institution, and affiliate-funded AI research efforts, ensuring timely execution, publications, deliverables, reporting, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Provide technical direction on model design, dataset creation, training strategies, evaluation, experiment planning, scheduling, milestones, and results dissemination.


Required Qualifications

Research Scientist/Engineer I

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related area.

Research Scientist/Engineer II

  • A Master's degree and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree,
  • A Master's degree and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree, or
  • A Doctoral degree.

Senior Research Scientist/Engineer

  • A Master's degree and seven (7) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree,
  • A Master's degree and nine (9) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree, or
  • A Doctoral degree and four (4) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree.


Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, or a closely related field with emphasis on AI or large-scale model development.
  • Strong research record in foundation models, world models, representation learning, multimodal AI, distributed training, or agentic systems.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale model training using GPUs/TPUs, distributed systems, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow), and data pipelines.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring students or leading technical AI teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
