About the Role

A wholesale electrical distributor is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to support commercial projects across Texas. This role focuses on delivering accurate material takeoffs, competitive pricing, and value-engineered solutions while partnering with contractors, vendors, and internal sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical takeoffs, material estimates, and bid proposals
• Review drawings, specs, and bid documents to define scope and risk

About the Role

Our Outside Sales representatives are responsible for marketing and selling our electrical products and service to OEMs outside of the office. Gaining new business is the main goal of this position and our Outside Sales reps do so by completing market research, developing relationships with both new and current customers, and identifying business opportunities.

• Marketing and selling products and services to OEMs throughout Southern CA

Overview: The Electrical Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all electrical training programs within the organization. Key Responsibilities

Department Leadership & Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage the estimating team, including Senior and Junior Estimators, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Oversee department workload, ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive bid submissions.
• Establish, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to estimating accuracy, bid volume, win ratio, profitability, and others pertinent to leadership strategic decision making.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical estimating experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or Chief Estimator role(preferred).
• Strong background in commercial electrical construction; experience with civil, municipal, or government projects (preferred).
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills with experience developing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships that lead to repeat business and market growth.

ROLE OVERVIEW

• Interpret job bid instructions, technical specifications, and architectural construction prints that are necessary in creating accurate electrical pricing for projects.
• Maintain and log incoming/outgoing bids and meet the deadlines for providing pricing to customers.

What You Will Do:
