Position Summary:

RN Manager OR Full Time Days Position Summary
Single or multi-department management of operations. Manages day to day operations. Directs, supervises, orients/trains, and evaluates staff. Enforces policies, procedures, and standards of operation. Position may have budgetary or fiscal accountability. Renders individualized comprehensive nursing care, based on nursing process, to meet the patient's physical, psychological, spiritual, social, and educational needs. Manages the staff to meet designated goals. Position is responsible for approving timekeeping, employee evaluation, meeting applicable regulatory standards, approving supply orders and department strategic planning."
Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provides patient care according to designated standards and practices. Assists in ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the appropriateness and effectiveness of patient care. Establishes a mechanism to track customer service performance and takes corrective action to address any issues.

RN L&D Full Time Rotating Position Summary
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Assessment - An RN uses a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze data about a patient, the first step in delivering nursing care. Assessment includes not only physiological data, but also psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and life-style factors as well.

Assessment data, problem identification, and goals are written in the patient's care plan so that nurses as well as other health professionals caring for the patient have access to it.
