RN Manager OR Full Time Days Position Summary Single or multi-department management of operations.

Manages day to day operations.

Directs, supervises, orients/trains, and evaluates staff.

Enforces policies, procedures, and standards of operation.

Position may have budgetary or fiscal accountability.

Renders individualized comprehensive nursing care, based on nursing process, to meet the patient's physical, psychological, spiritual, social, and educational needs.

Manages the staff to meet designated goals.

Position is responsible for approving timekeeping, employee evaluation, meeting applicable regulatory standards, approving supply orders and department strategic planning." Responsibilities: Patient Care: Provides patient care according to designated standards and practices.

Assists in ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the appropriateness and effectiveness of patient care.

Establishes a mechanism to track customer service performance and takes corrective action to address any issues.

Evaluates the department/service's performance against specified targets and takes appropriate actions.

Provides leadership for continued survey readiness team.

Employee Management: Responsible for day-to-day staffing and making appropriate decisions based on patient needs and skill level of caregiver.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master Degree.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Three years relevant clinical nursing experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Two years management/supervisory experience REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona.

CPR required.

ACLS as applicable by Facilty/by Department, PALS/NRP are required for certain clinical areas.

REQUIRED COURSE(S) TRAINING: In Cardiovascular: minimum of three to five years of Cardiovascular experience, to bedside care of Open heart patients.

In 2 EQ Nursery: minimum of three years Special Care (Level 2 EQ) Nursery experience including ventilators.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: CCRN or PCCN for PCU/Tele/Stepdown, CCRN for ICU/CVICU, CEN for ER, CAPA/CPAN or CNOR for Surgical Services, Maternal/Family Health Cert for WIS, RN-BC for Med-Surg, CRRN for Rehabilitation.
