Additionally, the Tech will perform DEXA scans based on department needs. The Tech shall operate imaging equipment and image processing equipment, prepare radiographic exam rooms, and maintain department equipment and supplies. The Tech shall provide medical imaging services utilizing various modalities including Radiology, Computer Tomography, and/or Magnetic Resonance Imaging; while maintaining competencies in these assigned areas. The Tech will provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. Additionally, the Tech will provide services for inpatients, outpatients; hospital operating suites, the emergency department (ED), and the continuing care center (CCC).

Maintains quality assurance and performance improvement activities within the department as directed. Complies with all Joint Commission, federal, state and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols. Requires excellent customer service skills.

- Assumes responsibility for the care and safety of patients undergoing medical imaging studies and continually monitors patients for safety and comfort while respecting patient privacy.

Accelerated Radiology Technologist-to-CT Technologist Training Program

Our Radiology Technologist-to-CT Technologist Training Program is a 10-week training program sponsored entirely by HCA. Through this program, selected candidates with current Radiology Tech credentials will learn all the needed skills to advance to a certified CT Tech role through online didactic instruction as well as clinical experiences at the facility in which they are employed. This HCA-sponsored program includes all testing, fees, course and training materials. Current ARRT credential and licensure as a Radiology Technologist in Florida are required for selection into the training program.

 Qualifications

  • Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school or Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Valid ARRT (R) certification
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to perform work which requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed Radiology Technologist

The Radiology Department performs 25,000 imaging exams annually using CT Philips ingenuity 64 slice CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound, and Hologic 3D for mammography. CT and general x-ray services are available 24/7, with ultrasound and MRI performed on weekdays with weekend ultrasound call coverage.  

JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking experienced CT/Mammo/Rad Tech with excellent customer service skills. 

Cross training into other modalities and certification (based on Radiology Department needs) is required, and existing CT or mammo certification is required.

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing routine, trauma, intraoperative, radiological imaging. 

In addition to competitive pay, this position is eligible for the following differentials:  

Evening $3/hour 

Night $5/hour 

Weekend $2/hour (in addition to any applicable evening or night differentials)  

Per Diem $2/hour (in addition to any applicable evening, night, and weekend differentials) 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Satisfactory completion of a formal radiological technology program in a CAHEA approved school and certification by the ARRT or its equivalent. 

Current Vermont unrestricted State license to practice radiologic technology. 

Demonstrated competence as a licensed professional by maintaining professional growth and development to keep abreast in Radiology Tech field.

The Opportunity:

The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day facility operations and ensuring all scheduled events are executed smoothly and professionally. This position manages event scheduling and booking, monitors facility communications, fields customer inquiries, and ensures all facility spaces are prepared according to client requirements. This position also conducts pre-event walkthroughs with customers to verify that technical and A/V systems are functioning properly and meet event needs. Responsibilities:

Facility & Event Operations


  • Manage the facility's event calendar and oversee scheduling logistics.


  • Coordinate event bookings, ensuring proper documentation and confirmation of customer requirements.


  • Maintain awareness of upcoming events and proactively prepare facility spaces accordingly.


  • Ensure facility readiness for meetings, trainings, and special events.


Customer Service & Communication


  • Monitor and respond to facility email communications in a timely and professional manner.


  • Field incoming phone calls and provide accurate information regarding event availability, policies, and services.


  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding event planning, facility use, and setup needs.


Event Setup & Execution


  • Ensure rooms and event spaces are arranged according to customer specifications, including seating layout, tables, signage, parking reservations, and equipment.


  • Coordinate with staff/vendors as needed to support event setup and breakdown.


  • Confirm all facility resources (keys, access, supplies, equipment) are available prior to event start time.


Technical & A/V Support Oversight


  • Conduct walkthroughs with customers prior to events to verify setup meets expectations.


  • Ensure A/V equipment, presentation systems, microphones, and other technical tools are functional.


  • Troubleshoot or coordinate troubleshooting of technical issues as needed to ensure event success.


Facility Monitoring & Standards


  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility environment.


  • Ensure safety protocols and facility procedures are followed.


  • Identify facility issues (maintenance needs, equipment concerns, supply shortages) and report or coordinate resolution.


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 1+ years of relevant experience oran equivalent combination of education and experiencepursuant toFla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in program management, event coordination, customer service, or office operations.


  • Experience coordinating corporate, training, or community events.


  • Familiarity with event booking software or scheduling platforms.


  • Working knowledge of basic A/V equipment and event technology and basic troubleshooting knowledge for A/V and technical systems.


  • Comfort and ability to communicate with military and government customers.


The most successful candidates may possess the following qualities:


  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


  • Excellent communication skills (phone, email, in-person).


  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills with great attention to detail.
