Position Summary:

Petrosmith, a trusted leader in the oilfield manufacturing and services industry, seeks an experienced and driven Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team. The Senior Estimator with support our Sales team in developing accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimates for engineered production and process equipment used in upstream and midstream oil and gas applications as well as other liquid and gas processing applications. This position is critical in ensuring the technical and commercial viability of our proposals. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with pressure vessels and skidded, packaged systems, along with a solid understanding of engineering and manufacturing practices.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides accurate cost estimating services for incoming quotes regarding tanks, pressure vessels, piping, skids, controls, instrumentations and other custom-engineered equipment.
  • Analyze RFQs, specifications, and drawings to determine scope, materials, labor, and timelines.
  • Interpret and modify Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure accurate and feasible estimates. Interpret and incorporate customer requirements and industry standards into estimates.
  • Utilize Infor Syteline ERP system for BOMs, costing, and quote tracking (preferred).
  • Maintain estimation documentation and support continuous improvement in estimating processes. Maintain and update the parts library, ensuring component pricing and specifications are current.
  • Review and apply technical knowledge of pressure vessels, piping, and modular equipment packages.
  • Support the Sales team with technical input during customer discussions and negotiations
  • Cost Analysis: Develop, assemble, and submit detailed and competitive bid packages in strict accordance with client requirements and deadlines. Analyze historical data, unit costs, and labor productivity to identify trends, refine estimating standards, and improve bid accuracy.
  • Value Engineering: Participate in value engineering efforts, providing alternative cost solutions, methods, and approaches to optimize profitability and meet client needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of estimating tools, databases, and best practices to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Mentorship and Training: Support the professional development of junior estimators and project staff through knowledge-sharing, coaching, and training initiatives.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all estimate assumptions, pricing, and supporting data for internal review and audit purposes.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, cost escalations, new technologies, and competitor capabilities to enhance the competitiveness of Petrosmith’s bids.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or Business Administration, or a related field preferred; extensive relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ progressive estimating experience in water filtration systems, oilfield surface product manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial construction environments, with a proven track record of successful project bids.
  • Strong background in pressure vessels, ASME codes, and skidded/process systems.
  • Working knowledge of ASME pressure vessel and piping codes.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and specifically MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with Compress (pressure vessel design software) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with water treatment equipment is a plus.
  • Understanding of engineering drawings, P&IDs, and mechanical design standards.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems; Infor Syteline experience is a plus.

SUMMARY: A program designed to train a skilled worker through a combination of on-the-job training and classroom instruction to become a Maintenance Technician at American Packaging Corporation. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for electrical and mechanical systems in the facility, which will include troubleshooting and routine maintenance activities. Throughout this program, they will learn to troubleshoot and repair equipment problems that affect productivity of the manufacturing group as well as plant facilities and subsystems. They will learn to be involved with the process improvements providing input in production problem solving.


Approval Process: Applicants will be interviewed and chosen based on their experience, knowledge, and overall work history. The chosen finalists will be required to take and pass an aptitude test.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nashville, TN, for a Field Installation Technician. The Field Installation Technician’s primary responsibilities will be the assembly and setup of the

equipment for a customer project. This will include coordinating with the Service Manager,

Project Manager, subcontractors and customer the installation of the machinery and equipment

in the customer facility. The installation will include testing and adjusting or recommendations to

bring the equipment to an operating state.

Complete tasks related to the installation, power up and setup of the equipment and software.

This position will install machine components, route and terminate pneumatic lines, route and

terminate flexible electrical conduits and the related wiring/cabling


Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, maintain, repair, and set up sensor-based sorting equipment.
  • Assemble machine components and perform mechanical alignment using hand and power tools.
  • Route and terminate pneumatic lines, electrical conduits, and wiring/cabling.
  • Conduct pre-shipment testing and quality control following company procedures.
  • Perform onsite service, preventative maintenance, and equipment cleaning.
  • Produce detailed service reports, PM trip reports, and other required documentation.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers and maintain clear communication.
  • Support the production team as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in similar duties.
  • Ability to follow instructions and retain technical information.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with coworkers, management, customers, and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, meters, and gauges.
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of machine design, repair, and maintenance.
  • Understanding of electrical and electronic circuits and diagnostic tools.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • General PC skills, including minor troubleshooting.
  • Prior ERP experience.
  • Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.


Licenses/Certifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
  • Ability to obtain a passport.

Work Conditions:

  • Work in indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Flexible shifts with the ability to adapt to changing schedules at customer sites.
  • On-call availability with possible overtime or weekend work.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Overview


We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee the planning, coordination, and installation of electrical systems on new and existing commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with contract documents, codes, and company standards. The ideal candidate is a strong field leader with deep electrical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to manage crews and jobsite operations effectively.


Key Responsibilities


The Electrical Superintendent plans and assigns daily work activities based on workforce capabilities and project needs. This position orders materials and tools, schedules major deliveries, and attends jobsite meetings to coordinate with project stakeholders. The superintendent supervises electrical installations to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.


Responsibilities also include calling for inspections, accompanying inspectors during walkthroughs, and documenting any violations or deficiencies. The superintendent notifies the general contractor or appropriate administrators of any code violations, omissions, conflicts, or deviations identified in the installation documents.


This role enforces all company safety programs, including safety, drug-free workplace, and hazardous communication requirements. The Electrical Superintendent works closely with manufacturers, owner representatives, and owners to ensure proper installation and system performance. Understanding employee strengths and placing individuals in the most appropriate tasks is a key part of this role.


Qualifications


Candidates must possess a Journeyman or Master Electrician license and have completed a minimum of four years of formal training through an approved apprenticeship program. A minimum of eight years of field experience in commercial electrical construction is required, along with prior supervisory experience.


Required certifications include OSHA 10-hour training, First Aid and CPR, and Hilti or Cadweld certification. Candidates must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all trades and levels within a jobsite environment.


Applicants must be knowledgeable in the operation of electrical tools and equipment, including conduit benders, lifts, cable tuggers, KO sets, trenchers, backhoes, cranes, generators, and related equipment. The ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, wiring diagrams, and contract documents is essential. Candidates must also be able to identify potential price changes, produce clear sketches, and communicate technical information effectively to field personnel. A valid driver’s license is required.


Education and Experience


A minimum of four years of experience working on commercial electrical projects is required, along with demonstrated supervisory experience.


Skills and Abilities


The Electrical Superintendent must demonstrate strong organizational skills, be self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Basic mathematical skills and sound reasoning abilities are required to support daily decision-making and problem-solving.


Physical Requirements


This position requires the ability to work in active construction environments, including climbing ladders and scaffolding, working at heights, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, bending, crouching, crawling, and working overhead for extended periods. Normal vision and hearing are required, with or without corrective devices.


Work Environment


The role is performed in active construction jobsite environments that may include noise, debris, uneven surfaces, and potential safety hazards such as trenches and openings. Employees must remain alert and adhere to all safety protocols at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, flow diagrams, P&ID's and construction blueprints

COMPETENCIES
