• Work 12-hour variable shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week
/n• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
/n• Float to alike units including Howard Young, Tomahawk, and Eagle River as needed
/n• May be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back
/n• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA or Red Cross BLS, PALS
/n• Minimum 2 years med-surg experience preferred; candidates with 1.5 years may be considered
/n• Additional acute care specialty experience will be taken into account
/n• Occasional pediatric surgical patients (ENT or orthopedic cases)
/n• EPIC charting experience required
/n• Any scrub color acceptable
/n• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
/n• Clinical interview required
/n• Associate degree or certificate required; bachelor's degree preferred

/n• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care
/n• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams
/n• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or standard protocols
/n• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
/n• Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout episodes of care
/n• Must successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test administered onsite before starting assignment
/n• One opportunity to re-test if initial BCA test is failed; second failure results in contract cancellation
