Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and leading the planning and execution of diverse constructions projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, project management, field operations and ensuring successful project execution from bid to project completion.
Responsibilities
Estimating
- Manage all aspects of bid preparation, including but not limited to: reviewing documents, soliciting vendor/sub-contractor quotes, preparing cost estimates and submitting bid proposals.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and vendors to ensure competitive and accurate bids.
- Perform site visits and pre-bid meetings for accurate project assessments.
- Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis using Trimble Business Center and Viewpoint.
- Lead the transitions from project award to execution, ensuring seamless handoff to foreman and project team.
Project Management
- Develop and communicate projects schedules with General Superintendent and project Foreman.
- Attend weekly progress meetings
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors to maintain timelines and budgets.
- Track project costs, identify and address areas of inefficiency and prepare and submit change orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure all project documentation and billing are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Act as the primary client liaison, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Requirements
Education/ Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent
- Alternatively, at least five years of construction experience as a Quality Control Manager, foreman, or superintendent, or a combination of education and experience.

Job Summary:

Our ideal Senior Project Engineer candidate assists the team in the administration of the construction project and acts as a resource for the Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, and Superintendent in running the day-to-day project operations from preconstruction through closeout. This includes assisting in the preconstruction phase activities such as constructability reviews, value engineering, estimating, budget control, prime contract negotiation, and preconstruction schedule management. Essential Duties & Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- PRECONSTRUCTION: Assist in the estimating / budgeting process, assist in the preparation of preliminary schedules and evaluating subcontractor proposals.
- CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Clearly understand all documents that make up the "Contract Documents” and ensure that Contract Documents are promptly transmitted to all new subcontractors.
- INFORMATION ORGANIZATION: Ensure all documents are readily accessible and neatly organized.
- BIM/COORDINATION DRAWINGS: Assist with the process of reviewing mechanical and electrical systems for compatibility with each other as well as other building components and space constraints.
- DIRECTORY/FILES/REPORTS: Ensure that all project documents, files, and reports are current, filed and distributed in accordance with our policy.
- AS-BUILT DRAWINGS: Assemble a clean set of Contract Documents for recording as-built information. Ensure as-built entries are routinely made to the as-built drawings prior to backfilling or concealing of the work.
- DOCUMENT CONTROL: Ensure that all document control procedures are being followed. Ensure a working set of drawings and specifications are established at the jobsite.
- SCHEDULING: Assist with the update the project schedule collaboratively with the Superintendent(s) and Project Manager(s) to develop accurate and detailed project schedules.
- SUBMITTALS: Ensure that submittals are received, approved, and returned in a timely manner; create and update the submittal log.
- PROCUREMENT LOG: Develop and maintain a procurement log.
- REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION: Ensure that all RFIs are written for all appropriate questions on the project. Properly track RFIs through the log system.
- CLOSEOUT: Assist with completing closeout packages as directed.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
Preferred Experience, Education and Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering preferred.
- Over 3 years of construction industry experience managing projects within our market segments and of our typical project sizes from start-up to completion.

About the Role
The Supply Chain Project Manager will report to the Sr. Project Manager and plays a pivotal role as a central resource in supporting supply chain initiatives across the healthcare organization.
The Project Manager is responsible for working with the Sr. Project Manager to plan, execute, and monitor supply chain projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, and collaborating with teams across the supply chain organization to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance.

Position description
This postdoctoral opportunity brings together faculty from UC Berkeley's School of Education (BSE); the College of Computing, Data Science, and Society (CDSS); and the Social Science D-Lab to support one (1) postdoctoral scholar as they study the teaching and learning of Data Science. Scholars will apprentice with multiple projects to develop and contribute expertise and scholarship in ethical data science teaching and learning across precollege, 2-year college, and 4-year university contexts. A major goal is to prepare scholars who are conversant across sectors, in order to help create coherent and supportive data science learning trajectories for all students.
We seek applicants with complementary relevant skill-sets and training in data science and education. This includes applicants with different educational backgrounds (e.g. research, regional, or liberal arts colleges; technical and community colleges), methodologies (e.g. qualitative and quantitative approaches to social sciences research), and experiences related to teaching or educational research (e.g. tutoring, teaching, curriculum development). We hope scholars will all share commitments to contributing high-quality, ethical Data Science Education teaching, curriculum, and scholarship. The program will prepare postdoctoral scholars for a variety of careers such as entering Discipline-Based Education Research or the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning of Data Science as research or teaching faculty at a range of colleges and universities; working for non-academic organizations that design, develop, and study curricula, resources, and teacher learning for Data Science Education; or working with school districts or university systems to support student readiness, success, interest/confidence and career awareness in data science.
Duties of Position:
Year 1: Researchers will work with specialists among the faculty in Computer Science, Data-Intensive Social Science, Education, and Statistics in research rotations across departments; attend monthly workshops designed to develop the knowledge base required to conduct consequential research in this field; and become integral members of a growing community of practice at UC Berkeley and across the SF Bay Area.
Year 2: Researchers will engage with a year-long apprenticeship with a faculty mentor and will develop an independent project within the context of one of the many educational initiatives led by project personnel. Fellows will have the opportunity to teach workshops in Python/Jupyter, social science methodology, data literacy pedagogies, or data science curriculum development, and they may also teach undergraduate courses in Data Science/Statistics or STEM teacher preparation, no more than one course per year in the lecturer title. They will present their independent work at campus colloquia and will engage the broader Data Science Education field through scholarly conferences, technical workshops, and UC Berkeley's annual Data Science Education convening.

Who we are looking for:
You will primarily provide engineering support on drinking water, wastewater, recycled water, and water resources projects. This position offers the opportunity to direct and collaborate with a team of junior and mid-level staff while providing the ability to consistently work with mid- and senior-level technical staff and leadership across the organization. The ideal candidate is a technically focused individual with strong experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing drinking water and wastewater infrastructure and systems and experienced in engaging with client stakeholders such as operators, superintendents, and public officials to understand how to support their needs. Summary

This is a field based medical affairs role
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the field-based extension of the Pharvaris’ Medical Affairs Team
- Field-based activities expected to comprise >80% of MSL responsibilities.
- Systematically identify the scientific exchange needs of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), investigators and other stakeholders in patient care, establish strong professional relationships, provide credible scientific expertise and serve as a liaison to Pharvaris North America’s Medical, Clinical Development/Operations and external partners.
- Ensure compliant communication and education of Pharvaris’ product portfolio to meet the educational and professional needs of Pharvaris’ key customers.

- Provide scientific liaison support to Investigators currently involved in Pharvaris’ interventional or observational studies and investigator-sponsored research

- Support development of appropriate responses to unique inquiries as required, such as the presentation of scientific evidence and medical education.

- 3- 5 years of MSL experience with primary emphasis on rare diseases and field-based scientific exchange and/or clinical trial support
- Therapeutic area and/ or hereditary angioedema expertise preferred.
- Frequent travel is required. Availability to travel 80% of the time, including weekends and holidays
